Laws around parenthood are rapidly changing. Mothers and fathers are now considered legally optional, and biology is being replaced by “intent” to parent.   Functionally, that makes children commodities to be cut and pasted into any/every adult relationship. Unlike adoption, which seeks to protect children by requiring adults to undergo vetting and screening prior to placement, new parenthood laws award children to whichever adult has the money and means to acquire them. Since Roe v. Wade was overturned on June 24, the abortion industry has been scrambling to survive. Changes in each state, reflecting the overall national landscape, are occurring every day.   Clinics are closing and reopening. Lawsuits are being filed. President Biden recently signed an executive order and spoke about what his administration is doing to protect abortion after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade. The US Supreme court has overturned Roe v. Wade and dozens of abortion facilities have closed and states are moving swiftly to protect the unborn. Today, I speak to the architect of the Heartbeat Bill, Janet Porter, who began the process over a decade ago of passing anti-abortion laws aimed at the heart of Roe.   Janet will tell her story of how God gave her the vision to create this innovative legislation that ultimately led to the overturning of Roe. Where were you when Roe was aborted? It's a question we'll be asking for a long time. Over the weekend, the US Supreme Court handed down its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. The justices upheld the Mississippi law and overturned Roe v. Wade. The much-anticipated ruling now returns the abortion issue back to the state legislatures. In this episode, the Created Equal team is live in front of the Supreme Court, celebrating this ruling, along with many other prominent leaders in the Pro-Life  movement.   Planned Parenthood After Roe   The US Supreme court is poised to overturn Roe. Many believe hundreds of abortion facilities will close immediately after the decision. Jackson Women’s Health organization decision coming down from the US Supreme Court in the next few weeks, Cam Côté catches up with Mark Harrington, founder and executive director of Created Equal, to talk about safety and security for pro-life organizations as we await this landmark ruling.   Mark is interviewed by Cameron Cote from the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform on Prolife Guys.

Recently, radical abortion activists firebombed the office of pro-life groups in Wisconsin and Oregon, burned a pregnancy center in Buffalo, NY, and vandalized over a dozen churches and pregnancy centers.   In Wisconsin, pro-abortion terrorists left a threatening message saying, “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.”   Jane’s Revenge has taken responsibility in some of these cases.   According to a bulletin issued by the National Terrorism Advisory System on June 7, more attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers are expected.   In New York, however, instead of investigating arson at Buffalo’s CompassCare, Gov. In this bonus episode, Samuel Sey and I dig deeper into the political strategies to secure justice.   Pro-life legislators aren't creating discrimination, they are curtailing discrimination. They are faced with a choice between reducing abortion on the way to outlawing it altogether or just making a statement.   William Wilberforce was in principle a moral absolutist, but in practice a strategic and tactical incrementalist—as are pro-lifers today. In that legal environment, the principled pro-lifer is an immediatist morally and an incrementalist strategically. In this episode, my guest is Ohio House Representative Jena Powell. We discuss her bill to end abortion modeled after the Texas Heartbeat Law that authorizes private individuals to sue anyone performing or aiding in abortions and will protect preborn humans from fertilization.   With the imminent overturning of Roe v. Wade, state legislatures need to move expeditiously to enact protections for the unborn. The Texas Heartbeat Law has survived in the courts, and Ohio House Bill 480 is patterned after the Texas law. For this very reason, HB 480, if passed should become law in Ohio and be enforced irrespective of the US Supreme Courts’ determination in Dobbs v. On this episode, my guest, Blaise Alleyne, Eastern Outreach Director for the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform, will discuss how the theory of change works backwards from the goal to figure out what must be done to achieve it.   Rather than just working forwards and asking, "what can I do?", CCBR has established a way of strategic thinking that works backwards, asking "what must be done?" Politico is reporting that a draft majority opinion written by Justice Alito has overturned Roe.
