Block periodization improves upon some of the flaws found in classical periodization, to include: Conflicting physiological responses from “mixed” training Excessive fatigue elicited by prolonged periods of multi-targeted training Insufficient training stimulus from medium to low concentrations of mixed training Inability to peak for multiple races through an entire season INTERVIEW LINKS: http://coachmentorship.com http://endurancesportsuniversity.com Follow the show on Twitter: @esportsonfire Follow the show on Facebook: facebook.c
