    Some works of wet plate photographer Shane Balkowitsch will be permanently displayed at the Pitts River Museum on the campus of Oxford in the UK. Shane has taken numerous wet plate photos of Native Americans and his "Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective" will go on display there in the very near future. Shane's works are also part of the "Picture Fence"  currently on display in the FM Area and some of his works are being shown at the Plains Art Museum.     Kim Jore, regional artist has come up with another great are project to help raise money for homeless shelters.  Hometown Holiday's is a collection features 54 small towns all within 50 miles of the F-M area. Kim visited and photographed each town and incorporated the pictures with watercolor to produce a unique collage. (Barnesville is featured in the thumbnail of this podcast.) Each also feature the towns zip code and GPS coordinates.  Proceeds to benefit Churches United and the Gladys Ray Shelter and Veterans Frop-in Center.
