Bonnie Bernstein talks with Preslie Anderson, civil rights activist and volleyball/legal studies graduate from Cal (’20). Anderson was an All-Conference volleyball player for the Cal Golden Bears, graduating in 3.5 years. She spent two years as a graduate transfer at Baylor, earning Big 12 All-Academic First Team honors in 2022. During her time as a student, Anderson participated in peaceful protests and used her social platforms, along with her spoken word talent, to stand up against systemic racism. She has been the voice of the NCAA Women’s College World Series for more than 20 years. In 2017, she became the first woman in over 30 years to be the play-by-play broadcaster for a nationally televised NFL game.
