A product of the NCAA Postgraduate Internship Program, Leech spoke to the 2022-23 cohort of interns at the national office while he was in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine. Leech, who was an intern at the NCAA in 1998, ended up spending 17 years at the national office before taking a job at the NFL. In our interview with Leech, he shared what the NCAA internship program did for him, his perspective on his time as a college athlete, and how to improve diversity at leadership positions at all levels of sports.
