Throughout history stories of God's mighty work in answer to prayer can be found. It behooves us then, to explore, what is prayer? How should we pray? When should we pray? What should we pray? What if we ignore prayer? What should we pray for ourselves? Come listen as we learn what Psalms 8 and 9 teach us about prayer. How shall we act when we wind up in the furnace or the lion's den?

The Pilgrims were failures. All their endeavors failed, why? Their use of Scripture was also a failure in the beginning. The Ipuwer Papyrus written around the time of the Exodus of the Bible. It is a writing of events happening in Egypt. What Ipuwer recorded of the events of his time parallels the same events recorded in the Bible. The Ipuwer Papyrus has been under attack by historians since its translation. They label it anything but actual historical writing. Here their arguments and how they fail under logical scrutiny. Learn how they manipulate the past to effect the future. Dr. Julian Jaynes became famous for his research on the effect of the Spirit world in ancient times. There is mastery in life but then there is mastery in Christian life. We think we are ready but.... are we? Mastery in Christian life as in everyday life needs time, learning and experience. Not everyone achieves the goal of mastery. For those who undertake the journey, mastery may take years or even a lifetime. For some, by God's grace, much sooner. As David said to his son Solomon "Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it." Mastery looks ahead, stays focused on a goal. As it says in Proverbs,16:3 "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." God distributes many gifts that we might master. Come and hear the what, the why and the goal. Slaves were called "Black Gold" and their trade could only be brought about by and through men of no conscience or compassion. Many men grew very rich selling this "Black Gold". The Christian faith torpedoes this evil and sets men free; Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Come listen to the difference between men bowing before and serving Christ or bowing down to and serving their idols. Listen to what does and does not please God and how wrong we can be in our own assumptions (Acts 19:13-17).

The Barnet group has recently conducted a pole of pastors across our nation. 90% of them said they would not or could not preach on the things in God's Word that would address what our nation needs to hear to address it's troubles. Troubles that attack the family, the decline of sexual morays, violence, economic woes, home-schooling and more. God's Word puts a point on neglecting application of God's Word in our lives in Proverbs 25:26, "A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring." Faith cannot exist unless evil in contended with. A Church which does not apply God's Word hinders the growth of faith. The Word of God seems to be out of season for the first time in our nation. Now what?

Does God Reign in your Soul? People need to see Christ in us. They need to see that Christ as King, ruling our lives and reigning over our souls. They need to see us submit to Christ our King in how we act in our own lives and how we deal with those around us. They will know something is different about us even though they might not be able to describe what it is. Come hear how Paul is an example for us in our lives. Miracles, the fingerprints of God, surround His people in many different continents and times in history. Miracles not only save the people of God but brings them closer to Him. They are without explanation and are a witness to the saved and unsaved. We tend to think God performs miracles because of works we have done. Come hear why this thinking is just the opposite of what the word of God says. The point: A proper understanding of righteousness based on the Law of God. Pharaoh understood it, (Exodus 9:27).

There are people who are expert in being able to see and discern non-verbal clues. These experts are often hired to tutor different clients on how to read non-verbal clues. Non-verbal clues reveal not only lies but an entire range of emotions. These experts sell there services to anybody from law enforcement to poker players. Law enforcement is taught this skill so as to better discern whether or not suspects or witnesses are telling the truth. Poker players hire these experts to not only teach them how to read the other players but to discover for themselves what there own "tells" are so they can have a better "poker face".
