  • The Gen Z Series: (13) How can I make a difference in my church right now?

    26/02/2026 Duración: 27min

Many believers want to follow Jesus deeply but when it comes to church, they often feel hesitant, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Where do you even start? And does involvement really matter? In this episode, we explore why the local church isn’t just another obligation to manage but the primary place God designed for spiritual formation. We grow through accountability, shared life, and serving one another as the body of Christ. God has intentionally gifted every believer to strengthen and build up the church (Ephesians 4; Colossians 3). That means you have a meaningful role to play—not someday, but now. Tune in to discover how to recognize and develop your spiritual gifts and take one simple step toward allowing God to use you to bless others and experience deeper belonging in His church.   Helpful resources: Lina Abujamra’s new book All Your Life Quiz to find out your Spiritual gifts Watch the conversation on YouTube here

  • The Gen Z Series: (12) How do I find a healthy and relevant church?

    19/02/2026 Duración: 24min

In this episode, we talk honestly about one of the hardest and most important questions for young adults: how to find a church community that helps your faith grow and last. We’ll explore what Scripture says about real church life and how to recognize a healthy spiritual home. Not a perfect church, but a faithful one. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from church, unsure where to go, or hesitant to commit, this conversation will give you clarity, peace, and practical direction as you look for a community where you can follow Jesus with others.   Helpful resources: Lina Abujamra’s new book All Your Life Watch the conversation on YouTube here.

  • The Gen Z Series: (11) How do I overcome church hurt and trust leaders again?

    12/02/2026 Duración: 25min

What do you do when the people who taught you about Jesus let you down? In a generation that has watched spiritual leaders fall publicly and painfully, trust doesn’t come easily. Maybe you’ve asked, Is everyone in the church a hypocrite? Or maybe you’re carrying quiet church hurt and wondering if it’s even worth going back.   In this episode, we talk honestly about it and turn to Scripture to see what God actually says about flawed leaders, accountability, forgiveness, wisdom, and healing.   The Bible reminds us: The church has always been filled with imperfect people (Romans 3:23; Acts 6; Galatians 2). Leaders are held accountable (James 3:1; Ezekiel 34). Forgiveness is hard but healing (Colossians 3:13). Wisdom matters—sometimes you stay, sometimes you leave (James 1). And ultimately, our trust belongs in God, not in human leaders (Psalm 118:8).   If you’ve ever struggled to trust the church again, this conversation is for you.   Helpful Resources: Book: Fractured Faith Book: All Your Life   Watch the conve

  • The Gen Z Series: (10) Do I really need the church to follow Jesus?

    05/02/2026 Duración: 22min

“Do I actually need church to follow Jesus… or can I just do faith on my own?” It’s one of the most honest, and most common, questions Gen Z is asking right now. Maybe you’ve been hurt by church. Maybe it feels irrelevant. Maybe online sermons feel easier. Or maybe you just wonder, Is showing up even necessary? If you love Jesus but feel unsure about the church, you’re not alone. In this episode, my cohost and I open the Bible and look at what Jesus actually says about His plan for the church, and why faith was never meant to be lived alone. We talk about the purpose of Christian community, what the church is supposed to look like (and what it’s not), and how to take a next step toward healing and finding a healthy church home. If you’ve ever wrestled with church, felt disappointed, or wondered where you belong, this conversation is for you. Let’s figure it out together. Preorder my book All Your Life here. • The Gen Z Series: (9) What is spiritual warfare and how does it affect me?

    29/01/2026 Duración: 22min

You’ve probably heard the phrase spiritual warfare before, but what does it really mean, and how does it actually show up in your life? Because it’s not usually dramatic or obvious. More often, it looks like the quiet battles you fight every day—your thoughts, your temptations, your doubts, your identity, and the mental pressure you can’t always explain. In this episode, we break it down in a simple, practical way. We talk about what the Bible really says about spiritual warfare, how the enemy attacks, and how to stand firm using prayer, truth, and God’s Word. If you’ve ever felt stuck, discouraged, or spiritually worn down, this conversation will help you understand what’s happening and show you how to fight from victory, not fear. -- Preorder my book All Your Life here. • The Gen Z Series: (8) Why do I overthink everything?

    22/01/2026 Duración: 20min

Do you ever feel like you can’t shut off the voice in your head? In this episode, we talk honestly about overthinking, anxiety, and the constant mental noise so many of us live with. We explore what the Bible actually says about your thought life—how your mind can be renewed, trained, and led by the Spirit rather than controlled by fear, lies, or emotions. You’ll learn why your thoughts matter, how Scripture calls us to take them captive, and what it looks like to replace lies with truth. • The Gen Z Series: (7) How do I overcome anxiety and find peace?

    15/01/2026 Duración: 20min

Gen Z has often been called the anxious generation. But why is anxiety so widespread, and what can actually be done about it? In this episode, I sit down with my Gen Z co-host for an honest and thoughtful conversation about anxiety. We talk about what’s contributing to it, what young people are most anxious about today, and how constant pressure, uncertainty, and comparison are shaping this generation’s inner world. Most importantly, we turn to what God’s Word has to say about anxiety and peace. How can we experience peace in the middle of real-life worries, not just in theory? This episode is practical, compassionate, and grounded in Scripture. Whether you personally wrestle with anxiety, love someone who does, or want to better understand the challenges Gen Z is facing, this conversation offers insight, hope, and direction.   Resources mentioned on this podcast: 1. • The Gen Z Series: (6) Why don’t I enjoy reading my Bible more?

    08/01/2026 Duración: 18min

If you’re honest, you might feel a little guilty admitting this, but you’re not alone. Many Gen Zers want to love the Bible, believe it matters, and yet struggle to actually enjoy reading it. Why does something that’s supposed to bring life sometimes feel boring, confusing, or like a chore? In this episode, we talk honestly about the tension between knowing the Bible is important and wanting to open it. We explore what Scripture actually says about God’s Word—not as a rulebook, but as the primary way God speaks, shapes us, and invites us into His presence. If you’ve ever felt stuck, discouraged, or frustrated with Bible reading, this episode is for you. Let’s move past guilt and toward a deeper, more life-giving relationship with God through His Word.   Helpful tools mentioned in this podcast: 1. 24/12/2025 Duración: 18min

For many of us, Christmas is filled with joy, memories, and traditions, but also stress, loneliness, and the pressure to look happy on social media In this episode, we talk honestly about why Christmas can feel both life-giving and draining and wrestle with the questions Gen Z is really asking: How do you represent Christ in family dynamics that are complicated or even painful? • The Gen Z Series: (3) When your heart feels disconnected from your faith

    18/12/2025 Duración: 17min

In this episode, we take an honest look at a statement many Gen Zers quietly wrestle with: “I don’t feel like a Christian.” What happens when your faith makes sense in theory, but feels distant or disconnected in your heart? Do fluctuating emotions or doubts mean something is wrong with your salvation? Let’s explore what Scripture actually says about salvation and assurance, including the important distinction between eternal security (what God does and promises) and assurance of salvation (what we experience and feel). If you’ve ever wondered, “Am I really saved?” or if you’ve ever felt spiritually disconnected or unsure where you stand with God, this episode will help you ground your faith not in feelings, but in truth.   ABOUT: Lina AbuJamra is a Pediatric ER doctor, now practicing telemedicine, and the founder of Living With Power Ministries. • The Gen Z Series: (1) What it really means to live for Jesus

    04/12/2025 Duración: 41min

I’m excited to introduce a new podcast series created specifically for Gen Z-ers and the people who love them. Each episode features a real, honest conversation between me and my Gen Z co-host (who you will meet in today’s episode) as we unpack what it actually looks like to follow Jesus in today’s world… in college classrooms, workplaces, friendships, dating, online spaces, and everywhere in between. We explore faith not as a checklist, but as a way of life that shapes every decision, season, and struggle. Together, we tackle the challenging questions young adults are asking: How can you handle relationships, money, and big decisions in a way that honors God? What does it really mean to hear God’s voice or experience God’s presence? How can you live out your faith without caving to the pressures around you? What does it really take to build a faith that lasts? This podcast is for any young adult learning how to build a life with Jesus at the center, and for every parent, pastor, mentor, or friend who wa

  • How to be happy (Philippians 4:10-23)

    27/11/2025 Duración: 15min

Everyone wants to be happy. Don’t you? Yet happiness seems one of the most elusive feelings in the world for most people.   One of the most shocking and powerful aspects of the apostle Paul was his ability to live happy. This guy didn’t fake it. He didn’t hide it. He didn’t struggle with it. He simply found the secret to happiness and couldn’t wait to share it with us. While the whole letter of Philippians is aimed at joy, this last lesson focuses in on happiness and how to achieve it. This is gold and it’s ours for the taking in Christ Jesus!   Discussion Questions: How did Paul always rejoice?   Can you remember the definition given for contentment? How would you define contentment?   Do you remember the five (or some) obstacles to contentment? What hinders you from contentment?   What are some things you practice to grow in contentment?   Social media is one of the obstacles to joy in modern life. How’s your relationships with social media and in what ways do you need to make changes to it?   Co

  • How to overcome worry (Philippians 4:1-9)

    20/11/2025 Duración: 15min

Most Christians spend way too much time worrying. You were meant for more than a life of worry. Find out how to get victory over worry in this lesson.   Discussion Questions: What is the most difficult sin in your life to overcome? What are you worried about lately? Why? What does God’s word say about that particular matter? What are some reasons why you should not worry? What qualities does Paul urge us to set our minds on? How could you strengthen your prayer life? Consider these thoughts and write down what comes to mind. It is a sin to worry, and it is a command not to be anxious. The way to overcome worry is not by effort of will, but by total and complete dependence on the Lord.   ABOUT: Lina AbuJamra is a Pediatric ER doctor, now practicing telemedicine, and the founder of Living With Power Ministries. • Moving past your past (Philippians 3:12-21)

    13/11/2025 Duración: 15min

Yesterday. One word that means so much. One word that can shackle you in despair and keep you from moving forward. Isn’t it time to move past your past? Isn’t it time to embrace your future?   No matter how dark your past may be, God’s love reaches deeper than your deepest secrets. He’s for you no matter what. Today we begin to move past the past. I hope you’re ready to step forward.   Discussion Questions:   Ask the Lord: “What are you trying to teach me right now? How can I apply the principles from this study into my life today?”   What kind of emotion do you feel when it comes to your past failures? The greatest lie we believe is that we can’t be used effectively because of our sin. God’s word is truth. Read Rom. 8:1-2; 1 John 1:7-9; 1 John 2:1-2. What’s God’s perspective on this?   Do you need to repent of sin in order to be able to move past your past? When you repent, you are agreeing with God that what you’ve been doing is wrong. But if you genuinely ask for forgiveness, you don’t have to live i

    06/11/2025 Duración: 18min

Until you understand how Jesus changes everything, you are at risk of wasting your life. This podcast will remind you what you gain when you have Jesus. Discussion Questions: How can we unleash real joy in our life in difficult seasons? What do you think it means to “put no confidence in the flesh?” What does it mean “to know the power of his resurrection”? What does it mean “to share in his suffering”? What are some ways you can do that today? Paul had one goal in life. Do you know what it was? What is your one goal for your life? What are some ways to grow your desire for a deeper knowledge of Christ?   ABOUT: Lina AbuJamra is a Pediatric ER doctor, now practicing telemedicine, and the founder of Living With Power Ministries.
