Dad once again wishes Mitcz would stop worrying about such things, as he considers it a futile effort. Mitcz disagrees, and wraps it up with how that all relates to his desire to be a full-time stand-up comedian.

From there, Mitcz & Dad discuss the latest advances in renewable natural energy and move on to web-based technology (Mitcz already knows about it and uses a rival tech) and we finish with a discussion about TV of today and a memory of TV’s earlier days where televised events had higher than 80% of the market at a time.

From there, they discuss movies and Dad mentions Ryan O’Neal, leading Mitcz into a story about a secret movie he’s never allowed to show anyone that features Ryan O’Neal. Dad gets curious about technology, which leads Mitcz on a number of geeky tangents that illuminate the situation regarding Apple, Google, Microsoft and more.

Finally, Mitcz asks Dad a life/philosophy question about jobs, dreams, mediocrity, and explains why being a recurring character on a TV commercial is the worst job in the world.

After some talk of sports & stats in their childhood, Dad talks about his 2nd viewing of Inception. From there, it leads into a discussion of movies in general, Mitcz’s disdain for Jon Travolta, and eventually Dad questioning the hotness of certain actresses, which Mitcz vehemently disagrees with.

Dad starts out discussing disappointment with people around him, and talks about a relative he’s particularly proud of, which leads Mitcz to discuss his own issues with his Dad seeming hard to please. Dad then reads an obituary Mitcz wrote for his grandfather (Dad’s dad), that Mitcz didn’t remember writing, and it’s an emotional moment (even Dad chokes up a few times). Afterwards, the conversation moves onto Dad’s hopes for Mitcz as an actor and/or comedian, and a discussion of the art of acting. The last part of the podcast becomes a discussion of Political Correctness and Mitcz calls Dad a racist.
