  • Building your brand through consistency and authenticity with Goldie Chan

    19/02/2019 Duración: 37min

Goldie talks about how difficult it is to achieve this and that she wouldn't wish daily videos on her worst enemy. But the quote that stuck with me the most during my interview was when Goldie said:"that's part of building relationships is actually caring about the other party." Whether you're creating content online in the form of blogs, podcasts, or even video. Think about and care for the other person on the receiving end. Is this content worth it? If the answer is no or even a 1% chance of a no. Delete it and start over. and make it in a way where you are in fact making it worth while for the other person. Goldie does an absolutely incredible job not only being consistent with her content, but showcasing that authenticity and care. • Making your dream life your real life with Hanna Hermanson

    12/02/2019 Duración: 38min

Living a dream life is well, a dream. When we think of the word success, we think of many things, but the one thing that I know for a fact we all think about is that when we say to ourselves: "When I am successful, I'm going to travel to..." To Hanna living a dream life, means living a life by her own means. And that includes travel and living a lifestyle she is happy with. It's always nice to hear someone else's dream and finding out how they are doing it. The sections of this interview that were the most powerful was when we talked about Hanna living a former life she hated and what she would do in order to never live that lifestyle again. The second part would be the various excuses we all make within ourselves. Hanna grew up in a small town, travels the world, yet still finds time to get herself out there to networking online, and obtain clients. • Insecurities In Business

    07/02/2019 Duración: 03min

When a primarily young business owner encounters a problem within their business or within their experience with a company, their first reaction is to get paranoid and either cancel a contract or create a public scene. Again, this can be in the form of a Facebook rant or just randomly cancelling of a service without any real reason. Think of it this way, if you were to go to a restaurant and you ordered a steak. It wasn’t done exactly the way you wanted it. How do you act? Do you send it back and ask for another, do you storm out of the restaurant, or do you make a scene? • Ways To Get Press Without A Huge Budget With Jered Martin

    05/02/2019 Duración: 39min

After the recording of this interview, I got to learn Jered even more so than just talking about business. What I like about his approach to business is genuine, honest, and caring. He's a good guy and someone that you can trust. He's one of those guys where even if you don't have the best experience with One Pitch, he's going to do everything in his power to get it right. The good thing for Jered is that he may not have to do that too often because OnePitch is an amazing service. PR is one of those things that we all know we need, but it's difficult to get right, I've been using OnePitch for a few months now, and this is not a paid endorsement, but I love the simplicity of the service. It makes PR more manageable. In the episode we talk about how in order to get the higher tier press, you primarily have to build a foundation. That begins with a good story. Most businesses try to go big and directly after the Forbes and Inc's of the world. But maybe start small and work your way up. We also talk about what a

But it’s the process that will allow you to make the money you long for. • How to build an EPIC community with Ryan Paugh

    22/01/2019 Duración: 40min

I’ve know of Ryan for years now. I’ve quietly followed his journey alongside a man that I now have the ability to call a friend and that’s Scott Gerber. I interviewed Scott a few months ago. Make sure you go check that episode out. It will be in the show notes. But Scott and Ryan wrote a book together called SuperConnector: Stop Networking and Start Building Business Relationships that Matter The book is phenominal. Early in my career I was everything that this book says not to do. I was a card collector. I was transactional in the way I speak. I didn’t care about meaningful relationships, I just begged for money. Throughout my career, that slowed down, and became more strategic, but it was nice to see context and examples throughout the book. Ryan is a world class expert in community building and what better way than to get Ryan’s perspective. He’s an introvert at heart and having the ability to talk from one side of the coin, Scott being the extrovert. And the other side of the coin being Ryan. It’s cool to

  • How To Live In The Future

    17/01/2019 Duración: 06min

First and foremost, the minute that you’re able to commit yourself to living in the future, it’s absolutely liberating. It’s this weight being lifted off of your shoulder. You are no longer living life by your to do list and instead in control of it. So here are some of the things that I did in order to live more into the future: Invested my time in creating a content calendar Cut out entertainment Time blocks Got on a regimen Links mentioned in interview: Website: Follow Us: Podcast Website: http://www.tbeshow.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/grzybowskij YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9lkipQ_wV2vmzspwtdA7hQ Sponsors: Penji helps businesses by making graphic design simple, fast, and affordable for all. • Local SEO: How A Phone Repair Company Grew 6000% In 36 Months

    15/01/2019 Duración: 36min

Mac and I met when Penji literally first started. He was one of our first customers believe it or not. He’s a great dude, love his entrepreneurial spirit. Some of the highlights of this episode are: When we go into the basics of Local SEO Mac shares a specific example about how Local SEO helped his phone repair business into a soon to be 5 location company. The most interesting thing for me was when we talked about the future of Retail. And how systems and processes will shape the way retail is being done and how Mac is using these systems to use current office spaces to help his customers. Really cool stuff. • Turning 30 And Goals For 2019

    10/01/2019 Duración: 08min

This episode is an accountability episode where I will share what I want to accomplish in my 30th year and as I accomplish each one, I will add onto this episode and add all of the bonus episodes affiliated with each goal, within this master list. I thought in great detail about what I wanted my 30th year to be. I ended on the theme and key phrase of Seeking Discomfort. If you’ve ever heard of a group of guys called Yes Theory, they are an incredible YouTube channel where they challenge the way life should be spent. Within reason of course, the idea is to say yes to life’s most challenging adventures. I’ll drop a comment in the show notes to get an idea of their videos, but let’s continue to expand on this two words. Seeking Discomfort allows you to get out of mediocrity and to pursue a life of love. Most people I know are winding down. They have either hit their peak or have been declining for the past few years. But what I like to think my life is always trending upward. It’s always moving up even if at tim

  • Video Games: What We Can Learn From Them And How It Pertains To Business

    08/01/2019 Duración: 47min

Quick disclaimer: In the beginning of the episode the audio is slightly pitchy. The team fixed it as much as they possibly could, but it does get fixed about 10% into the conversation. I’ve personally known Alex for a few years now, we even went to the same high school together. We didn’t talk at all because he was older than me. However, I’ve come to respect Alex an F ton. The guy is smart and ahead of the game so to speak. His company is forward thinking and I’m really excited to watch his success. I feel like Alex’ company is one of those dark horses that because not a lot of people know the industry and it’s not popular, he might fly under the radar so to speak, but is huge within the community he’s invested his time into. Some of the highlights of this episode are: When we talk about the current state of the gaming industry The future of the industry How developers are making money And how Twitch influencers are actually making the gaming industry a better place. Let’s get to it. Links mentioned in int

  • How Focusing on Employee Dreams Built an Exceptional Culture and an Unbreakable Company

    25/12/2018 Duración: 37min

Some of the highlights of this episode are: When Craig mentions the importance of putting an idea out into the universe and how the universe somehow always makes it happen. He met Richard Branson, Paul McCartney, Ringo, George, and so many more incredible people all because he believed he could. He also believed that he could make a 1000 person company and he did that too. I loved the story behind focusing on your employees, how to build a long lasting company culture and Craig’s definition of an unbreakable company. Let’s get right to it. • Taking Calculated Risks In Business

    20/12/2018 Duración: 06min

Example 1: Every single time a person comes through Penji, we document where they came from. We then ask questions about their company, what they like, and most importantly why they chose Penji. We have this documented and the importance of this is that because we know our customers reasonings and logic behind why they chose Penji, we can, in a way, use their words against future customers. One of the newest mantras we are working with in 2019 is that Penji is simple, fast, and affordable. That didn’t just come over night. That came from time and money well spent. So why is this important. Well? We now know words that resonate with our customer base and when we place ads or talk to prospects to sell Penji to, we know the terminology to use that will allow them to understand. The risk here is that when we invest $10,000 in advertisements, we need to make sure that we are right. Which leads me to example number 2. Example 2: We have had a ton of conversations about advertisements. We’ve asked questions like: W

  • Everyday Strategies That Help You Accomplish More With Gregg Clunis

    18/12/2018 Duración: 43min

Some of the highlights of this episode are: When we talked about the words follow your passion and dream big. What they mean to Gregg is important and needs to be heard. In the middle of the podcast Gregg goes into a story about every day strategies that can help you accomplish more in your day. A loose quote he mentioned was something along the lines of constantly experiment, but never deviate too much. Something near and dear to my heart is having your own command center so to speak to create content and lastly, the story about Gregg’s father. Gregg’s father passed away last year. Gregg made a rap album about it and his reasons why he did it are inspiring and nothing short of amazing. The quote that stuck with me was mention on his instagram, which was: “One of the biggest lessons I've learned from losing my father last year is the importance of family and keeping the ones you love close. You never know when you will part ways” Enjoy the episode. Links mentioned in interview: https://greggclunis.com Follo

  • How The Life Of An Entrepreneur Is Lonely

    13/12/2018 Duración: 07min

I later stormed out the house I used to call home and found myself driving back to my home without music, without sound, just me in my own thoughts. Thoughts were going through my head, anger ensued, and it came to a boiling point where I just began to break down. I couldn’t take this pressure anymore and I had to let it out. That moment for me, was probably the single greatest moment I’ve had with myself in a long time. Now you’re probably thinking, this guy is a sick bastard, and you’re probably right. I am. But what I realized was that there is beauty in pain. We all go through pain and suffering, but when it happens, we always come out better because of it. What I realized is that throughout this disagreement: Not once did I ever question myself. Rethink the way my life would have been or should be spent Not once did I have to soul search to find out who I am, what I stand for, and what I believe in Even though entrepreneurship is lonely. It’s a life I love. I’ve always called entrepreneurship a beautif

  • Innovation: Takeaways From Making A Product In The USA with Rachel Benyola

    11/12/2018 Duración: 42min

Rachel’s company is very unique. It’s solving a real problem and is on the forefront in technology in the commuter cycling industry. It’s a great company that has great values. As we progress as a society we need to explore the safety of cycling, motor and electric scooters, and various other forms of travel. These sustainable means of travel are the future of our society and we all need to invest in these at one point primitive ways of technology. Another reason I wanted to interview Rachel is that her products are all made in the US. You can hear why this is important to her in the middle of the podcast.  Some of the highlights of this episode are: What the words equality and inclusion mean to Rachel Rachel’s views on the future of travel Links mentioned in interview: https://www.anneelondon.com Follow Us: Podcast Website:http://www.tbeshow.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/grzybowskij YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9lkipQ_wV2vmzspwtdA7hQ Sponsors: Penji is an effective on-demand design

  • Culture And Leadership With Former CEO Of Virtua Health; Rich Miller

    04/12/2018 Duración: 43min

After talking to Rich for over an hour talking our about business, life, faith, family. You really get an idea of what it takes to be a leader and why Virtua made the right decision to bring Rich on as their CEO over 20 years ago.  A few takeaways from the conversation is when we talked about how one day Rich had his head down while he was walking around the office. There wasn’t a particular reason why his head was down, but one of his employees came up to him and asked him if he was ok.  For me, that was a gut check and a realization that no matter what mood you are in, you have to perform at the highest level possible. That one misstep can lead others to feeling insecure about their job or you may pass that energy onto others within your executive team. Everyone needs to have that comfort knowing everything is ok.  Another takeaway was a conversation that didn’t air, but felt the need to share it.  I recorded this in a conference room and being that I’m an Apple user, I forgot to get the dongle for the micr

  • Airplane Story Why Humans Are Fearful

    29/11/2018 Duración: 11min

Now, it wasn’t crazy turbulence, but crazy enough to warrant a little bit of stress. During the brief moments of turbulence, there were a few shrieks from those in the cabin. Some of the people were visibly stressed out because of it. I saw a few people holding each other’s hands and even someone that was constantly looking around at others with a stress face on. I’m sure you know what this means. However, there was one person in the entire cabin that didn’t have a care in the world what was going on and had absolutely ZERO stress. And that was a young child that was sitting about 3 rows from me. While almost every single person was stressed, parents including, the child was laughing, giggling, and talking to others within the cabin. The child was in the hands of the father and with every slight feeling of turbulence, the father clenched his arms to hold the baby tighter. As if if were the last time that they could seen each other. Now, I have no idea what it means to be a father. I don’t have a kid and maybe

  • What Does It Mean To Have An Online Presence? (With Pia Larson)

Biggest takeaway for me was when Pia mentioned about how you need a showstopper.
