    This week we continue our Year of Animation by looking at the semi-autobiographical work about the life of Marjane Satrapi with 2007's Persepolis. This film tells the story of Marjane growing up in Tehran, Iran during the late 70's amid the Iranian Revolution and how she grew into womanhood under an oppressive new regime. This film is full of thought, heart, humor, and sadness and is worthy of watching. We try our best to do it justice with our discussion. Also, we talk about parrots that swear a lot (unrelated to the film but fun).
