Who is Sandy Phillips?   Sandy Phillips has been an outspoken advocate for gun reform since her daughter, Jessica Redfield Ghawi,  was murdered in the Aurora Theater Massacre in Colorado on July 20th 2012. She and her husband sold everything, bought a used 26ft camper, and travel the country encouraging grassroots advocacy across the nation.  Their story is one of devastating loss that has been turned into inspirational purpose. This Friday, we are so excited about our Halloween special!  Lori Gum from Queer Ghost Hunters will join the show!  The show will air live from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST.  Do you want to know more about the stories they have shared??  All will be revealed on our show!  Blossom Brown will also be making her debut as co-host for the Friday shows! Not only is Lori a fierce Ghost Hunter, she also works for the LGBTQ community in Columbus, Ohio, at Stonewall Columbus as a Senior Program Coordinator. Joining us this Tuesday, October 18, will be Jon Cooper.  Jon Cooper received a B.A. degree from Duke University in 1977.  Since 1978, he has run Spectronics Corporation, a company based in Westbury, NY that is one of the largest manufacturing firms on Long Island.  Spectronics manufactures more than 1,000 products for dozens of diverse markets, primarily in the field of ultraviolet lighting technology. Jon and his husband, Robert, settled in Lloyd Harbor in 1983. They adopted five children, who now range in age from 31 to 21 years old. Jon was elected in November 1999 to the Suffolk County Legislature.  He served in office for 12 years, including six years as the Democratic Majority Leader.  As a result of mandatory term limits, Jon retired from office on January 1, 2012. Jon was honored by the Long Island Press as one of the "50 Most Powerful Long Islanders." Most of you know we save the best for Fridays! We are honored to be joined with MJA and Together We Stand in the search of justice for Elizabeth Ann Gill. The show is Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 3:00 CST - 5:00 CST. At 2 years and 10 months old, Elizabeth went missing from her front yard in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 13, 1965.  While the family has an idea of who took Elizabeth, they have not been able to proove anything at this point.  MJA began their investigation in 2012.   There is a strong reason to believe Elizabeth is still alive while many say she stumbled into the Mississippi River. This is a fascinating case that our only wish is to unite these families.  You know with all the cases we have done with MJA and Together We Stand, it has led to some serious issues that are being resolved.  While, yes, we tend to be a political show, this is not one of the times.  We work and stand together regardless of race, gender, political affiliations, etc.  This is about justice for families and hopefully uniting this family in this particular case

Ella Masar McLeod is an American-Canadian soccer player who has played professionally for several years including time on the US Women's Soccer Team.  While an amazing player, she has an even better story from hardship to overcoming obstaces to conquering those same obstacles.  She is an inspiration for people everywhere. Erin McLeod is one the best keepers playing today.  She also played professionally including being a part of Canada's World Cup and Olympic teams.  McLeod is also a talented painter, motivational leader, musician.  Is there anything these girls cannot do?
