Trekmate: Upper Pylon 2

This week on UP2, the gang is reunited as we take a look at the fun romp of an episode that is “Looking for Par’Mach in all the Wrong Places.” Grilka, Quark’s Klingon ex-wife, returns to DS9. Quark, still smitten with her, enlists the help of Worf and Dax to woo the fierce Klingon woman, including participating in a battle to the death. The 5th season is off to a hot start with the second straight Dominion story. Sisko and a select few of his crew have to defend the intelligence find of the decade. Those chumps over on UP3 really got messed up this week, eh? Here on the much happier Pylon, the crew discuss the really interesting “get to know the Jem’Hadar” episode, To The Death. What are their motivations? Who do they trust? Is that really a large prune juice? Don’t forget to feedback!

So this episode… This week Lwaxana Troi arrives on the station to bid farewell and Jake has another rough outing with his muse. Do all the hosts hate this one? This week, Hansen finally returns to the podcast just in time for our annual “Torture O’Brien” episode, “Hard Time.” Convicted of a crime he did not commit, O’Brien is given memories of a 20-year incarceration within a matter of minutes. Following his ordeal, O’Brien struggles to reintegrate into station life, in spite of the fact that none of what he experienced was real. What do you think of this episode?
