This week the Matts and Chris tackle a somewhat controversial episode as Quark takes on a new trade… dealing weapons. It certainly is an odd episode as it is a Quark centric affair with no major comedy elements. However, we certainly do get a lot of crazy scenery chewing from some guest stars. Eddington, however, is ready, and raises the stakes to make the chase personal for Sisko. This week on UP2, we take a look at the end of Odo’s life as a solid when he becomes the impromptu father of a baby Changeling with “The Begotten.” When Odo becomes the guardian of a sick baby Changeling, he must try to establish contact. However, doing so will require the help of Odo’s former keeper, Dr. Mora Pol, and this creates some…family drama. Meanwhile, Kira gives birth while her boyfriend insists on being a royal jerk. This week on UP2, Evil Dan joins the crew as we take a look at the body possession episode that gives us our introduction to the Pah-Wraiths, “The Assignment.” To his horror, O’Brien discovers that Keiko has become possessed by a malevolent entity who threatens his family’s lives if he doesn’t do precisely as she orders. O’Brien must race against time, and with a little help from rising engineering idiot savant Rom, save Keiko before whatever scheme the entity has cooked up. After Hansen’s quick visit to the infirmary to take care of his Rigelian Fever (aka sinus infection) the UP2 crew are now proud to present our look at the Jake Sisko Vietnam parable “…Nor the Battle to the Strong.” Jake sees the perfect opportunity for writing a thrilling article when he and Bashir are diverted to assist Starfleet forces under siege by the Klingons. However, Jake soon finds out that he is way over his head, and that the line between courage and cowardice is not as clear cut as he thought it was. This episode got us into a rather spirited debate.
