One of our listeners found Sequences podcasts on several more music sites, these include Owitail.com, Podbay.com, Himalaya.com, Mytuner-Radio.com & Book.com without our permission, but in one way it’s more outlets to get the music across on the internet. Again there’s plenty of diversity in this edition which we always try to achieve with ten new names appearing, perhaps not all their music here is to everybody’s taste, but hopefully, it makes it more interesting to hear sounds that you might pass by. Don’t forget to check the playlist & bio pages of individual musicians on our website. We leave you now with the new project ‘Kontrol Raum’ by Bas Broekhuis, Frank Rothe & Mario Schonwalder. Another slightly extended edition by 30 minutes, trying to get a backlog of new releases that have been on hold while moving to a new home. Quite a lot of musicians appearing for the first time on Sequences, nine in total giving us a broad range of styles from quirky experiments to Berlin school & dark ambient to symphonic scores. Steve Roach joins us with his sonic continuation of mystical captivating spacious sounds, the rich tranquil ambient music of New Zealander Rudy Adrian, rhythmical sequence lines from Ian Boddy’s modular synths blending with Markus Reuter’s overlaid beautiful guitar parts soaring overhead, Thaneco evoking melodies from certain colors with RNGMNN unforgiving dark landscapes disorientating & unsettling, are just a few of the musicians joining us again. A quick blurb, we are back with only one edition this March, because as I mentioned before, with moving home without the internet for 10 days, taking time unpacking everything, setting out the studio/ office up again & going through over 1000 emails, we haven’t had the time to compile our usual two. Had a problem with the software I’m using to do the mixing, their upgrade buggered everything up, now with no mouse control for Mac which is useless, saying this was demo & wanted another 80 dollars to register it. Found a free one quickly but it’s going to take time to sort it out, didn’t get round to figuring out how to mix the music with the audio text so no intro from Karen. This will be the only edition for this month due to Mick moving in shortly to his newly built abode, which is a month earlier than expected. If we have time there’s a possibility of a “best of” to fill the gap. As we rely on what goes on each episode monthly from the latest releases coming in, the range of music can vary.
