Every person, because of their sin, is out of conformity with God's standard and is thus separated from God. Christ's death on the cross, however, opens the way for every person to have a relationship with God because it brings everyone who trusts in Christ into conformity with God's standard. The Setting (Historical) The Deliverer (Moses) The Judgement of God The 10 plagues The Final Plague (The death of the first born) The application to us today... That's why God sent Jesus to be "the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Jesus has died instead of us. “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” when we believe in Jesus. We are safe from judgement when we turn from sin and accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord.
