Infalt explains, although he spends less time in the field these days he is still as aggressive when it comes to  hunting strategy as he was when he was 20 years old. Now 54, Dan shares a couple examples of hunting strategies that have led him to success and even a couple failures that have impacted him along the way.  Lastly, the guys discuss the different stages every hunter goes thought throughout their hunting career. This podcast has been a long time coming that will take all the fluff and boil it down to what should wildlife managers really be concerned with.  Everyone wants the best results, we can all agree on that, however, you cant skip ahead when the foundation isn't even set yet. Why get fancy, when you can't even grow a simple productive plot yet. The basics need to be met first, then we can begin to take a bite off the larger piece of the pie. You need to realize although the soil is the building block of life, it has to be broken down into finding the balance. Is it weather? The moon? Time of year? Pressure? This week we kick off a new series breaking down stories from Pennsylvania hunters who found success harvesting mature buck this past season.  With just shy of 1 million licensed hunters in PA, many of which are deer hunters, it can be a daunting task setting your sights on bucks that are 4 to 5 years of age or older.  What can be more difficult is taking the step to pass a young buck.  We encourage all hunters to be fair chase, ethical, and most importantly pursue what makes them happy!  Every hunter needs to enjoy their time in Creation and harvest standards should be made by the individual.  This series aims to provide hope to those who want to take the next step chasing big whitetail bucks but still remain skeptical of letting a younger bucks pass. Since closing on the properties, time has been the limiting factor, but that is changing and projects are getting completed.  This podcast discusses how a new fencing project will be one of the most impactful projects on the farm as cows will be managed for the first time, opposed to them roaming freely.
