I love talking about the rapture. I still believe in it. I still look for Him everyday! This could be the day! I’ve done this since 1970. 51 years of watching for Him. Don’t you get discouraged? No matter how good we are to people it’s never enough. People today are not appreciative. They don’t care what you do for them as long as you do more and more. We want more government handoust and we don’t care who pays for it. We want more vaccines and we don’t care what the long term consequences will be. We want more and more and more. I remember at Christmas we would get a stocking with fruit and one toy. What do kids want today? More and More and More!

Scales indicate something satanic. Snakes have scales. Paul was satanically blinded because he could not see the truth of Jesus Christ. Like many today are blinded by the god of this world who seeks to hide the truth of the gospel from all of us.

What is the best thing someone ever did for you? Well your mother did a wonderful thing of bringing you into the world. Your spouse did a wonderful thing by marrying you. Soldiers have done a great thing for you by giving their life for your freedom. Your company did a good thing by giving you a job. The bank did a good thing by giving you the money to by a car or buy a house. So people have done many great things for us. But can you believe that most people could care less about these things? They sure don’t care what God has done for them. What did God do for us? He gave us life. He gave us a family. He gave us a spouse, put us in a free country, gave us a job, a house, a car, children and grandchildren and pretty good health for many of us. But we have left out the most important things God has done for us…

There are many books written about personality traits and personality types. Which type are you? I’ve read some of these books. While they are interesting and maybe even accurate to a degree what does it really matter in the long run? I am what I am because God made me that way. But according to God there are only two types of people. Wicked and Righteous! So leave it to God to really simplify it.

Blindness affects 2.2 billion people in the world today. The numbers are rising. The main reason is the lack of decent eye care. Near-sightedness can lead to blindness if not treated properly in time. Untreated Cataracts and failing eye sight in the elderly leads to blindness among the undeveloped nations of the world. Myopia or near-sightedness is exploding due to children spending so much time on their devices. Diabetes patients will all experience some kind of vision problems. The cause of Much blindness of our eyes is preventable but the poor can’t access doctors and those who can often do not. There is a spiritual blindness also. Those who are spiritually poor aren’t looking for a cure and those who know about the cure won’t access it because they both think they can see.

A song from the sixties had these words…..“In times like these we need a Savior, In times like these, We need an Anchor, In times like these, We need the Bible. In times like these, O be not idle. There are many mysteries in the world. The mystery of Stone Henge, and the UFO’s, big foot and the Lochness monster. We have the mystery of the human mind and the mystery of who killed JFK? And Did OJ do it? One mystery has been answered. The Old Testament prophets didn’t know about Jesus Christ and the church. It was not revealed to them. It was a mystery. How can one have their sins forgiven and walk with God? How can paradises be restored that mankind lost at the garden of Eden? That has all been answered

We have no idea how terrible sin is in our lives. We have no idea how sin causes death. We laugh at sin. We joke about sin. We don’t take I seriously. But sin has caused despair, hopelessness, grief, tragedy, horror, depression, sickness and finally death. How can we laugh at that? We don’t realize what power sin has over us. We must realize that sin kills. Speed kills they say….well we know that sin kills. It destroys everything it touches. Sin and death go hand in hand like love and marriage, Apple pie and baseball, Duke and the Devil. No wonder their called “Blue Devils” right? Sin and death, death and life. Life and death go together in that order. But death and life do not go together. Sin brought death but Jesus changed that to bring death and life

In the story of the woman at the well we have three things. A woman, A well, and the way. It was just an ordinary day for her. What happened next changed her life forever!

We know that there are alliances today with different evil groups and they have one thing in common…They are evil! But when evil people and good people get together the good usually turn bad. Why is that? We are sinful people with a sinful nature so we are already bent to sinning. And that is the reason we always need to watch who we hang around with and where we hang out at. Unholy alliances come when unholy people somehow get into an alliance with Holy people. That should not happen. Unholy people can cause us to stray from our faith. What is an unholy person? Be ye holy as I am holy. Holy people follow Jesus who has made us holy. Unholy people DO NOT follow Jesus Christ plain and simple.

Things we do are important. We can do wrong things. We can do right things. What we do is based on personal choice. What we know leads to understanding and making good decisions. We know for instance that China wants the three trillion dollar rare earth minerals in Afghanistan. We know that China is in Afghanistan. We know that our fake president loves China. We figure out that the United States pulled out of Afghanistan in order to give it to China. Now it makes sense. Now taking the vaccine is your business and no one else’s. If you have taken the vaccine that is your decision. I don’t want you to feel scared or alarmed. God will take care of all of us. No one should be mandated to take this vaccine…no one! It is experimental, it is not approved by the FDA. But once it is approved you will have to take it. Children and anyone under 30 should absolutely NOT take it. But for the rest of us it’s Your choice. But realize as of today in the US it has injured almost 600 thousand and killed over

This is a terrible time to be alive for most people. But for those who know Jesus Christ it is an exciting time to be alive! Jesus is coming soon! We are the last generation. We could go to heaven any moment, in the twinkling of an eye! But for most people it’s a time of great stress, aggravation, hatefulness, fear, sickness, sorrow and uncertainty. We of couse are subject to these same feelings of discouragement and fear. It is a discouraging world right now. We must not let it discourage us. The Bible tells us what we have to fall back on in these discouraging times.

Noah and his family have left the ark and begun the task of restarting the earth. What a task that is. God gave them instructions about how to do this. It’s very simple and God’s instructions have not changed since that day that Noah stepped off the ark. Three simple instructions form the basis for a society and life on this planet.

Many today actually most today resist God. They hate God. They don’t march down the streets against God. They don’t stand up and blaspheme God. But by their actions they resist God. They resist the Holy Spirit that draws them. They resist the God who loves them. George Carlin did several comic routines blaspheming God and claiming that God did not exist mainly because there was evil in the world. Well there is evil in the world because of man…..not God!

The last of the seven churches in Revelation I think can represent churches of all ages and also churches for today. Laodicea of a city about 90 miles miles, due east of Ephesus and 45 miles SE of Philadelphia. It was a wealthy city under Roman rule. But This last church I think represents the state of the church before Jesus comes. We will look at it in detail. Jesus is the one speaking according to Revelation 1:12-18

Elijah is the second man raptured in the Old Testament. Enoch was raptured just before the judgment of the flood in Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. The prophet Elijah is one of the most interesting and colorful people in the Bible, and God used him during an important time in Israel’s history to oppose a wicked king and bring revival to the land. Elijah’s ministry marked the beginning of the end of Baal worship in Israel. Elijah’s life was filled with turmoil. At times he was bold and decisive, and at other times fearful and tentative. He alternately demonstrates victory and defeat, followed by recovery. Elijah knew both the power of God and the depths of depression.

“It’s only words…. but words are all I have to take your heart away.” Bee Gees 1970. Words mean a lot. In fact words mean everything. Did you know that books contain 100% words. People use words to inspire, to destroy and all in between. The devil can use words. God uses words. Words are vitally important and how we use words can mean the difference how a person feels about you.

How many things can you absolutely depend upon? Things that will never let you down? Everything breaks down over time and everything gets old and out of date. Things change sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse. Even the universe which seems pretty constant is changing and one day will be rolled up like a scroll by God. What about people? People leave us all the time. They die or they change…. and you never know really when it will happen. Even the best of loyal friends and family and spouses will leave you eventually. Either through death or change. But there is one who will never die or never change. He will never leave or go away. He is the one constant of the universe.

Computer code is only ones and zeros. That’s it. One’s and zeros and from that come all the complex workings and processes of every computer. That’s life also. It’s all about one’s and zeros. If you have zeros you are incomplete. You must have one’s. This passage has lot’s of ones. But one is only one number. Without the one you have nothing. That one is Jesus! Do you have the one? The only one?
