The New Jerusalem will be a place of unimagined blessing. The curse of the old earth will be gone (Revelation 22:3). In the city are the tree of life “for the healing of the nations” and the river of life (verses 1–2). It is the place that Paul spoke of: “In the coming ages [God] might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7). The New Jerusalem is the ultimate fulfillment of all God’s promises. The New Jerusalem is God’s goodness made fully manifest.

There is no fence sitting anymore. You are either for the truth or against the truth. As we end 2021 where will you stand in 2022? Will you stand for the truth of God or the lies of the devil. No middle ground on Jesus. You are either for Him or against Him. To ignore Him is to be against Him. To follow Him is to adore Him. The last two years we have seen some things we never thought we would see and do. I’m not going to rehash the last two years, you’ve been here you know what’s going on. Will it get better in 2022? Maybe. Probably not. The Bible says that evil men shall wax worse and worse. People will be buying and selling and marrying and giving in marriage in 2022. No one will expect it when the Lord comes for us. Is that because times are so good or that no one is looking for the rapture anymore? I’m beginning to think that no one is looking for Jesus. No one wants to know Biblical truth anymore especially pastors and preachers. Are you turning away from or turning to truth?

Israel has been freed from 70 years of Babylonian captivity. The Medes and Persians have defeated the Babylonian empire. Nehemiah and Ezra later are leading the return and rebuilding of Israel. Nehemiah will build the wall and Ezra will lead the rebuilding of the city and the temple. They had opposition from many. Anytime people want to glorify God, and lift up His name they will have opposition. The opposition is cruel, wicked, resourceful and they never quit. So we have to be determined, confident in our God, and willing to sacrifice even our lives to the glory of God. But we know one thing…..we cannot lose! And they cannot win!

I guess my favorites that I remember were a toy submarine and I remember a Wolf Man figurine. As an adult I was always working for the Postal Service I was just glad to get it over with. Anything was great! God has given us a gift that is beyond belief and believe it or not the vast majority of people have never bothered to claim it.

The most important invention in world history is the printing press. Built in 1436 by Johannes Gutenberg. With the newfound ability to inexpensively mass-produce books ideas and knowledge was placed in the hands of every literate person in the world. It helped pull the world out of the dark ages. The first book printed was the Bible. The Gutenberg Bible as it was called. The world’s greatest invention led to the word of God being placed in the hands of millions of people down through the years since. In a sense the most important invention shed light on the world and made Christianity the most important movement in the history of the world. Why is Christianity so important? Why are you as a Christian so important?

Dictionary definition of Pestilence: A Fatal epidemic disease especially bubonic or black plague. Pestilence in the Bible…means a deadly and overwhelming disease that affects an entire community. The Black Plague, a disease killed over thirty percent of Europe’s population, was certainly a pestilence. Spanish flu in 1918 killed 33 percent of the world’s population. Pestilence many believe is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse in the book of Revelation. Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. I believe this includes all pestilences since Jesus ascended into heaven through the tribulation period. Players, coaches and managers get kicked out of games all the time. The reason they get kicked out is that they have crossed the lines established by acceptable behavior principles. Leviticus chapter 18 contains a list of sexual sins. Sexual sins are especially heinous because they take something that God uses to procreate humanity, a good thing, a holy thing and perverts it. The land itself suffers from our sins. God raises up nations and put nations down. Always because of their sin. A sinful nation cannot continue to sin because they spread their filth to the whole world. So God has always checked those nations by bringing them down and replacing them with another. I believe this is happening to America today. God is kicking us out of America for crossing the lines He has established of acceptable behavior.

Wokeness: This word was added to the dictionary in 2017. It means “well informed, up to date, alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice.” Being “woke” means being aware….Knowing what’s going on in the community related to racism and social injustice. Well are they really “woke?” What does the Bible say about being “woke.” There is a “wokeness” to temporal things and a being “awake” to spiritual things.

We have so much to be thankful for. Yes we are losing our constitutional Republic. We are losing our liberty in America. But we will never lose Christ! He will never change! He will never leave us! The world we live in will never be the same….but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! I know we talk about giving thanks to God. But in times like these we need Jesus more than ever! What do we have if we don’t have Jesus? Where do we turn? There is no one that can save you from the coming wrath of man, and the wrath of Satan and the wrath of God…except Jesus Christ!

Salvation was bound up in the temple, even if in a preliminary and anticipatory way. For even as its altar and priests were a figure that pointed forward to Christ's sacrifice on the cross, so the structure itself was a type, a material prophecy of that day when the Word of God would become flesh and "tabernacle" among us. Still today it serves as a type of that future glorification that awaits us in the heavenly presence of God himself

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (day of the Lord begins with the rapture of the church)….shall not come, except there come a falling away first (Greek words mean moving away, or taking away) and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. It appears from scripture that the church is going to be taken away BEFORE the tribulation begins. Here are some points to consider as proof……

The world today loves their little “g” gods. Many gods exist today. Some real, some imagined. The problems is that they all have a little “g.” that is, they can be called gods but they are not the real, the only, the unique, the creator, the sustainer, the saving, the prophecy fulfilling, the only truth, the God of the Bible. And that leaves the rest of them as only pretenders. There is only one contender, and that is the God of the Bible. Eliohim, the great “I am.” The Lord Jesus Christ.

The world is obsessed with death. We do everything to avoid it. We make gory movies about it. We invent a holiday Halloween that is all about death. Every image of Halloween is death. Ghosts, devils, graves, headstones, graveyards, grim reaper and on and on. We fear death! Death makes us all afraid. We spend billions perhaps trillions every year to keep from dying. Medicines, exercise equipment, vitamins, doctors, nursing homes, exotic therapies and on and on. The elites are doing everything they can to give themselves eternal life through artificial Intelligence and weird things with Children’s blood and sacrifices to Satan. Notice how the George Soro’s, the Klaus Scwaab’s, the Pope, and all these guys are all very old men. How do they continue? It’s weird. They seem to have overcome death. But they will die. Everyone dies that has rejected Jesus Christ. They die twice….. physically and spiritually. The Bible is filled with death. But the Bible is filled with the answer to death and hope

Covid, Same sex marriage, Abortion, Transgenderism, Islam, the Pope, Covid, Vaccine mandates, all this stuff is just war against God and His creation. Man is trying to make man in His image. Should I say the devil is trying again to remake man into his image with MRNA vaccines, and DNA altering shots that will kill millions and those that survive (the devil doesn’t want every human to survive just a select few that he can breed a new mankind) will be made in the devil’s image. God is going to stop this as He did in the days of Noah. Why do men seem to hate God and resist God? It’s his fallen nature to resist God. Man has as wicked heart that resists God. But God loves us and we can have and must have a new heart, a forgiven and cleansed heart from the penalty of our sin and rebellion.

Most in not all people think they are going to heaven. Most think they can go to heaven by NOT being a Christian. In other words you don’t need the Christian faith, you don’t need Jesus to go to heaven. In fact most think they can go to heaven without Jesus Christ. Just be sincere in what you believe, be a fairly good person and do some good things, be religious and be true to yourself or some other mantra like that. They are not remotely close to going to heaven. The fact is that only Christians go to heaven because only Christ claimed to be the only way to heaven and IS the only way to heaven. So If this is so important how can we know we are saved? How can we know we are a Christian?

Grace is God’s riches at Christ’s expense. Grace is the greatest word in the human language. It’s greater than love. What? Yes. Without grace we would be lost in sin even though God loves us. Grace is God giving us His salvation paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. Yes love did it but without grace there is no salvation. When the Bible mentions grace it’s always about Jesus. Jesus is grace. Grace equals Jesus. How can we be strong in grace?

Is James crazy to tell when everything is going wrong we should rejoice? No he is absolutely correct. How can that be? Why would we be happy when everything goes wrong? Not only is it possible but that is the way every Christian should look at every trial and every trouble!
