The world has their three truths….(1) We are made by evolution,(2) Male and female and family are just constructs, you can be whatever you want to be and with whoever you want to be with it’s up to you and (3) The care of the earth and the animals are the first priority for Humans. God has a different perspective. Of course whatever God thinks is truth. But it is in direct conflict with mankind’s basic truths. Let’s look at three basic life truth according to the Bible.

Daniel and Revelation are almost companion books. Both Daniel and the Apostle John were shown great visions of the future end times by God. Stunning and detailed descriptions that includes messages from Angels. Both Daniel and Revelation are to be read and can be generally understood but much is still veiled in mystery. If it were not, then it would not be God’s books. But Daniel chapter nine is clearly understood and we reference Seventy weeks. Seven Is the Bible number for completeness and God’s completes the history of Israel with 7 times 70. Jesus said to forgive a person not seven times but seventy times seven. Meaning there is complete forgiveness in the seventy times seven. God is seeking to completely forgive and redeem Israel from all of their past sins with their seventy times Seven!

The Bible is the word of God. It has proven that by Biblical prophecy. It has proven it is the word of God by it’s living billboard…Israel. Read Ezekiel 37 and tell me who do think are the dead bones that come back to life? It can only be Israel. Tell me the Bible is not accurate in Bible prophecy and then prove it? You cannot. You can tell me that Jesus did not rise from the dead but can you prove He didn’t? There is more evidence that Jesus rose from the dead than people who can prove you are who you are! And because He lives we know that He loves. The Bible is living, the Savior is living, the Savior is loving.

America is a great nation because of our great constitution and freedoms we enjoy. But if you read the sins we have devolved into in the bulletin I don’t see a national revival. But many are preaching a great revival is coming and Trump is returning. The church is looking for America to return instead of Jesus Christ! They are looking for Donald Trump instead of Jesus Christ. This borders on blasphemy for the church. But I see it all the time on face book!

Psalm 74:17 Thou hast set ALL the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter. Intro: America is 245 years old today. That’s a long time. I don’t think we will be around much longer. We have a border problem in America. I’m not just talking about the southern border and all the problems there. I’m talking about borders that God has set up for every nation. Not physical borders but moral borders that we have violated and that God does not take lightly

What would we do without our heavenly Father? Would gives us all things richly to enjoy. He gives us life. But even though we are alive physically we are not really alive. We are dead spiritually. Which means we are separated by our sin from our God who created us. This is not really living. Just existing.

: I don’t know how many of us were literally taken to a woodshed to be spanked. But all of us have been spanked a few times in our lives as children. At least I hope you have. All of us need to be disciplined as children. In fact I have been disciplined by my mother and my father, by most of my employers, my bosses at the Postal Service, My wife, my church, by my doctors and by the government. In fact, as I look back I guess I have been disciplined most of my life! But it did me good because I used it for motivation not discouragement! Now God tells us that He disciplines His children. Of course, He would…. because discipline is for correction……. except for your parents. I think they got a kick out of torturing us. My friend’s father said he hit him like hitting a baseball…….for distance! But anyway. God only disciplines for correction unless you have ignored His discipline and then it becomes punishment. Remember Achan? Anninias and Sapphira? But rejoice in the fact that God only discipline

Father absence is to blame for many of our most intractable social ills affecting children today. They have lost their firm foundation without a father in the home. Our Father God is always completely involved in the lives of those who trust in Him, because He will never leave us nor forsake us. Our God has revealed Himself in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Through Him we have a firm foundation able to stand the test of our faith and our future

Nadab and Abihu were Aaron’s eldest sons. They helped their father with the official offerings , sacrifices and ceremonial worship of God. Numbers 26:59-61And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.60 And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the Lord. The sons of Aaron are mentioned along with the father fifteen times in Leviticus chapters 8 and 9. They did all that was expected of them and performed well evidently. They were not rebellious people. They did not cause any trouble. But something went terrible wrong. Not with God….He never changes but with Aaron’s sons. What was it? And what does it mean for us today?

Not many things are a guarantee. Some players guarantee victory. Some people guarantee satisfaction with a product. Guarantee’s mean a lot to us. We expect things to perform as guaranteed. We don’t like things to fail to live up to their claims. Well Paul claimed a lot of things to the Church a Corinth. He claimed that their faith and trust in Christ would guarantee eternal benefits that would never expire. They were trying to grasp it all in an unsure world. We are that way today. We have many uncertainties. Nothing lasts forever we say… but in Christ we have many certainties.

In Micah chapter Five is a message of a future judgment of the people of the world.

Check out facebook or the internet and you will see one thing. Selfish, pompous attention seeking people who think the world revolves around them. What a surprise one day when they find out just how small and insignificant they really are.

Angels are divided into two groups. The fallen angels, bound angels and the angels. 1/3 of the angels joined Satan in His rebellion. Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Are demons fallen angels? The most common alternate explanation for the origin of the demons is that when the Nephilim of Genesis 6 were destroyed in the Flood, their disembodied souls became the demons. While the Bible does not specifically say what happened to the souls of the Nephilim when they were killed, it is unlikely that God would destroy the Nephilim in the Flood only to allow their souls to cause even greater evil as the demons. The most biblically consistent explanation for the origin of the demons is that they are the fallen angels, the angels who rebelled against God with Satan.

Abide means to dwell with or be in union with or to be one with. Our spouse abides with us. We are one flesh. Christ abides with us means He is with us and we abide in Christ which means we are in Christ or a part of Him…one in Christ like a marriage unites two into one Christ unites His church into Him. Same beliefs, same goals, same outcome….. to glorify God. People today lack confidence in their government, in their families, in their news media, in their products, in their religions. We can have confidence in Christ because we abide in Him and He in us.1

Jesus gave us the signs of the times called the Olivet discourse. In it He described things that would be going on in the world near the time of His return. We know that the biggest sign is the fig tree is giving forth leaves and tender figs the time is near. Israel is the fig tree. But there are other signs and two about Noah and Lot that Jesus gave us in Luke 17. Let’s look at them.

We know a lot of things in America. We have great researchers and scientists. We put a man on the moon in 1969 with adding machines and mathematicians and computers so primitive that your smart phone would make look like toys. God has given us the desire to build and invent and innovate and we have done well with that ability. But we are smart but not wise. Have you heard of people who are smart but not “street” smart. They have knowledge but don’t have the wisdom to survive in real life situations. Daniel will tell us what God thinks of our knowledge.

It takes a lot of work, digging and persistence to find Gems in the earth. But when you find them you know you have something of great value. The Bible is a rare gem in itself. There is no book on earth like the Bible. There is no book on earth that is God-breathed and God-inspired but the Bible. Proverbs is a book of wisdom, practical wisdom for living life well. There are many gems in the book of Proverbs but it seems like chapter 16 has some of the most familiar.

The Lord Jesus Christ had a mother just like we have. She gave advice to her Son just like any mother. But she also gave advice to the people at a wedding that turned out to be the greatest advice ever given by any mother or father, or anyone else.

Why anyone would want to be Ungodly is puzzling. People are ungodly for basically two reasons. Some are ignorant and the rest don’t want any part of God. God loves them. God sent Jesus to die for them and give them eternal life and peace and they don’t want that? That’s correct. They want to rule their own lives and be the master of their own fate. They want to sin, they love their sin and will not give it up. John Milton’s Paradise Lost book 2 quoted Satan as saying “I would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven.” Who said anyone would rule in hell by the way? Satan isn’t ruling in hell he is headed for the lake of Fire in the very near future. The Bible doesn’t say anything about a king of hell or the lake of fire. People are just deceived or ignorant about their future.

Luke 17 and 21 give us the Olivet Discourse we find also in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. But many have discovered the four horsemen of the appocolypse in Luke chapter 21. I am not dogmatic on anything I say today. But I believe it best fits what Bible prophecy tells us. I am but a fallible man so I cannot know the mind of God on this. But if we take the scriptures as a whole and scriptures only we can be pretty accurate about our understanding of Bible prophecy.
