This was by far one of my favorite stories. Annette has managed to be successful in her own right despite her shaky start in life and unstable upbringing. Annette has dealt with addiction, abandonment, the foster care system, homelessness and more, yet she still thrives.

Hello Friends, First of all I apologize for the sound quality or lack of in this episode. Still going through the growing pains and it will get better. So I had the chance to speak to woman that became estranged from her biological mother at almost 50 years old. I questioned if this was just an argument that she could have moved beyond and she began to explain the betrayal that created the break in their relationship. This story involves molestation, triangulation, scapegoating and more.

Now that I've had some time to think about my interview with Sundy Gilchrist I'm offering my full take on the conversation. What do you think?

I can't believe how long it is taking me to pull this all together but this is new territory for me. I'm enjoying learning something new but being a bit of a perfectionist is slowing me down. I have already met some dynamic people and will start actually recording shows next week. Thanks for your patience with me. One day I'll be able to move as fast as lightning but for now I'm just embracing the learning curve. I think there's always something to be gained in the journey so I'm opting not to stress or panic over my slightly delayed launch day.
