We identify with Jesus. We realize that we’ve been given the same relationship that Jesus has with God as our Father.

God's identity is pure goodness. It is the unchangeable goodness of God that enables us to trust Him with all our heart in all our ways.

Every identity is recognized by a voice. The voice reveals the character, the will, the motivation of the one speaking.

To identify with someone is to choose to be “the same as” that someone. Our true identity can only be revealed when we choose to be “the same as” Jesus.

Knowing your God-given identity is not enough. You must also realize that there are thieves in this world who want to pervert it and steal it.

If you can steal someone’s identity, you can take everything they own. God is the Author of your true identity. If you renew your mind with the truth of His Word, your true identity becomes clear and is kept secure from identity thieves.

Your most valuable possession is your God-given identity. Don’t let anyone, or anything, keep you from walking in it. In the conclusion of  this series you will learn how to discover and grow in your God-given identity.

Our God-given identity is deeper than our behavior, and what we’ve been through, and the feelings that we may have. Our true identity was given to us before we were in the womb.

As you grow in your relationship with Christ, your eyes will be open to your God-given identity. As you realize your God-given identity, you will realize your God-given purpose. The knowledge of your God-given identity and purpose will empower you to rise above the opinions of man and take your place in the plan and purpose of God.

What if, like Eve, we’ve accepted identities that are not in our best interest  and are deceptions at their root. We have the opportunity in Christ to exchange our adopted, false identities for our TRUE Identity in Him.

In this series you will learn to find your true identity through relationship with Christ. Your true identity can only be realized through a personal relationship with the One who made you. Jesus is the only One who knows and understands every facet and feature of you.

God gave us His ID when He sent Jesus into the earth. Jesus is God’s ID. He has perfectly revealed the character and will of God the Father to all of mankind. Don’t let the opinions of man rob you from knowing the real Jesus. Study Him for yourself in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts.

No one has the right to define you but the One who created you. Don’t allow your identity to be formed by anyone else except the One who knew you before you were in your mother’s womb.

The definition of the word, identity, means “to be the same as”. All of us look to someone to identify with. When we choose to look at Jesus as the One that we identify with, our true identity is unveiled.

As with a little child, your identity begins with knowing who your Father is. 

In 2026, we are taking hold of our true, God-given identity in Christ. There is nothing fake, or artificial, about Him and their is nothing fake, or artificial, about your true identity.

His life is the light that defines our lives. As we behold Him, we see our true identity in Him.

As we look to  Christ, His Make-All-Things-New Light and Life fills us and brings wholeness and vision to our lives. 

Through faith in Christ, we have become the sons and daughters of God. We are in a new family with a new Father. Healing belongs to us!

If there is something broken in your life, your Heavenly Father wants to fix it. He is the One who makes all things new.
