On this 9th Episode of Indie Book Rebels, we're  had planned to discuss writing Thrillers & Suspense fiction with the very successful Indie author C.E. Martin, but ended up focusing more on a genre the incorporates thrills, suspense, mystery and action all in one fast-paced form, namely Pulp Fiction.Drawing upon his experience as a USAF veteran and seventeen years as a criminal investigator, C. E. Martin has penned numerous pulp-styled thrillers. A long-time fan of pulp fiction and men's adventure, C.E. was first inspired to write by classics like The Destroyer and Doc Savage. When not authoring the latest in his own Stone Soldiers military thriller series, C.E. can be found watching B-movies with his kids or battling virtual evildoers on X-Box Live. 

In this episode of Indie Book Rebels we're going to talk with author Mark Gardner, indie author of several works including:  Paradox; a short story, and three compact novels, Body Rentals & Forlorn Hope and Escape.Mark Gardner lives in central Arizona with his wife of 14 years, two school-age children and a black lab. Mark has a degree in computer systems and applications, and is currently attending Northern Arizona University, enrolled in the Applied Human Behavior program. Mark does his writing on an old Apple eMac and iPad utilizing Apple iWork Pages and iCloud.We'll talk about his books, which cross several genres, from techo-thriller to dystopian. We'll discuss his journey as a writer, and his newest fantasy novel coming out soon called Champion Standing.And since, Mark is in the middle of a crowdfunding campaign to raise both funds and awareness of upcoming work, we'll spend time discussing crowdfunding in general, and how an Indie author can take advantage of it.
