When it comes to giving, are you giving to God first, or just giving Him the leftovers? In todays episode, we will see where Cain failed, but Abel was successful at giving. What did Cain do wrong, and how can we make sure we don’t fall into he same trap?

Today’s episode will talk about sin. We will talk about what sin does to our lives.

Paul talks about not doing the things he should do, but does do the things he should avoid. It’s a struggle as long as time itself. If you are honest with yourself, you probably do the same thing. There is, however, a way out. Todays episode talks about how to get out of the never ending struggle to do the things God wants us to be doing. Do you feel like a hamster in a wheel?

This is how people like Daniel and Joseph in the Bible kept centered on God. Todays episode takes a hard look at what you and I need to do each day if we want to live the way God expects.

Yesterday, we talked about keeping mercy and truth at the center of your life. Today, we are looking at a couple real life examples of men who did just that, and see how God worked in them. If you are in your darkest hour right now, it is not the time to abandon your faith. Instead, it’s time to keep focused on God, because He may be preparing you for something beyond your wildest dreams.

In Proverbs 3, the writer lists two things we must make sure is at the very center of our lives. In fact, he tells us not to let them forsake us, it’s that important. Is your life centered on these two things?

As we turn our thoughts to the new year ahead of us, many of us will utter the phrase, “In the New Year I will…..” We’ll make our new year resolutions-things we want to change about us and the life we live. Sadly, many of those resolutions will fail in the first couple weeks. In todays episode, I’ll show you some resolutions we can make to be the Christian that God wants us to be.

On this Christmas Eve, it is my annual tradition to read THE Christmas Story.

The angels brought an important message to the shepherds on the night of the birth of Jesus. In this episode, we will study the message, how the shepherds reacted, and what it all means to us today.

Often times, the world looks at the Christian as the bad guy. Why? Because we expose sin, and tell others about Jesus and His forgiveness. It’s because we go against the flow, we don’t walk in the same way as the world walks. In todays episode, we look at what it means to walk for Jesus in the dark world. Are we a troubler? Or are we a truth teller?

What comes to mind when I say the word “peace?” Is it a spot on a tropical beach under a palm tree with no one around? Maybe a log cabin in the woods next to a babbling brook? Today’s episode is about peace, about finding peace. Where does peace come from? Take a listen and get the help you need to find peace in your life.

In this episode, we look at the topics of idolatry and adultery, both of which are things that shouldn’t be in the life of the Christian. But, are you committing spiritual adultery and cheating on God with idols? People and the nations have been punished for idolatry, God takes it seriously. We’ll look at how we can stay away from cheating on God.

Today, we are looking, again, at Proverbs 2:12-15. We see, in these verses, how easily we can fall away from the right path, into the evilness of false teachings. Unless we study and apply the Bible, we will fall for any and all teachings-whether they are biblically sound or not. This episode gives practical advice, through Scripture, to help make sure you stay on the right path, the path that is led by the Spirit.

Today, we are looking at Proverbs 2:10-2 to discover the benefits of Godly wisdom. I’m not talking about intelligence, I am talking about the skill and ability to live the way God wants. Some of the smartest people I know have no knowledge. In these verses, we will see what wisdom does for us, and what wisdom keeps us from.

Did you know that most Americans (exact percent shared in the episode) feel they are above average in intelligence? Worldly wisdom doesn’t mean anything to God. In fact, He said He will destroy the wisdom of man. How, then, can we attain the true wisdom that God desires us to have? Take a listen to todays episode to learn how to Find True Wisdom

Todays episode is studying Proverbs 1:10-19 where we are taught not to follow along with, or walk in the paths and ways of the sinner. As Christians, we need to make sure we don’t fall back into sin. Instead, we need to walk in the ways of the LORD. In our world today, it’s easy to give into peer pressure, it’s easy to walk in the ways of the world. It takes self control and the LORD to make sure you stay on the right path.

We are talking about spiritual growth today. Why Proverbs, you ask? Because Proverbs gives us insights into the things of God, His ways and how we should live. Proverbs helps us understand and helps us increase our knowledge. Don’t be satisfied with a surface knowledge on this things of God, dive deeper.

Did you know that you can have a faith that could move mountains? All it takes is a tiny amount of faith, yet we all even lack a tiny bit of faith. The disciples could not cast out a demon, even though Jesus ordained them to. Why? Their unbelief. Their lack of reliance on God. We can’t do anything apart from God, yet we all try and live our day to day lives in our own power and strength. If you want a faith that can move a mountain, you must rely on God in all areas of life.

Have you ever been in a spot, like the father was in Mark 9:24, when you exclaim something like “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief?” That father was desperate for healing for his son, yet the disciples could do nothing for him. The fathers faith was tested as he tried to get his son healed, but then he met Jesus. His honest, open dialogue with Jesus revealed he had no where else to turn. Maybe your faith needs to be open and honest with Jesus as well.
