  • #EP.009 Life is a Journey

    28/10/2015 Duración: 57min

Our worlds couldn't be any more different: however they were brought together this past summer, untied through our shared love of Surfing. I was first introduced to Ramjan during his debut on the Big Screen in a Surf Documentary called Gum for my Boat. At the time I would have never been able to guess years later we would be sharing a boat, moped, barber chair or waves on one of the biggest adventures of our lives.   In this episode we spend some time exploring all of life’s crazy turns that brought us to this place. I learn about what life is like growing up in Bangladesh, how surfing was introduced and about his dreams of opening his own Surf School and Orphanage in Cox’s Bazar. Ramjan has dreamt big, so big in fact his project has found a special spot in my heart. Coming to learn about what a wide spread change has been created in his community though the simple sport of surfing gets me fired up. People have been trying to talk me in to going to Bangladesh for years and it had gained zero

  • #EP.008 It doesn't take an Organization

    13/08/2015 Duración: 26min

In this episode Ferriy Bagus tells us about what he has done to create the change he wants to see in this world. He has taken to his network to fundraise the money to pay for the schooling cost for an amazing group of children at the Jewel of the Nation Orphanage. He has invited me to join him in delivering the fruits of his efforts directly to the people it is going to impact. He said something in this conversation that has stuck with me since “You don’t need and Organization.” I realized I don’t need to fill out an application to volunteer with and organization, I don’t need to wait until the next facebook fundraiser to donate. I can do it right now. This day changed me. I loved all of it. I was so focused on the ride there on conditions and circumstances that had taken place these allow children to get there. I quickly realized after spending sometime with them that it didn’t matter. All I could see was the enormous potential in each of them. These kids where so full o

  • #EP.007 Creating a Movement

    13/03/2015 Duración: 01h35min

In this episode I sit down with one of my good friends and current Coach Gilly Smith. It has been said that you are the average of your Five closest friends, well Gilly most defiantly brings UP my average. I am thankful for her inspiration, guidance and taking the time to give us a peak into this very special project she has been creating.

  • #EP.006 Set Your Goal

    14/11/2014 Duración: 45min

I was confused when I met Patrick in College; I didn’t understand how he could already know his Major and have an understanding of what his career path was going to look like. Patrick and I have shared many fun times together but he also has had a huge influence in helping me understand how important it is to set big goals. I have always had a huge respect for this guys ability to set and follow through on a plan. I recall a few years back we spent a cold New Years eve in Las Vegas sitting on his balcony and he told me he wanted to race a triathlon as one of his New Year’s resolutions; fast forward to later in the year and he had completed numerous races and performed so well he now had a shoe sponsor. He has reached success in an industry many of us know a little about; Hotels. Don’t worry if you would like to know anything about the interworkings he is more than gracious to discuss it. I hate talking about work outside the office and would rather discuss my passions, Patrick’s passio

  • #EP.005 Mastery

    03/10/2014 Duración: 51min

It has been an absolute pleasure having a front row seat to watch my best friend Kyle Johnson’s growth in perfecting his artistic craft. There is one word that stands out when I think of his Photography and that is… Mastery. I was around for Kyle’s first few Digital Photographs and just last week a copy of his current Campaign with Filson Outdoor Clothing (one of my personal favorite brands) arrived at my door via US Mail. It was a very surreal moment for me. There was a period of time where I would go out and buy every publication he was published in, it ended when I couldn’t keep up with the growth and frequency of him getting published. I did however buy a copy of the New York Times Sunday Magazine he was featured in a few months back, as that’s kind of a big deal.  I will always be amazed at how good his pictures come out.   It was a great pleasure to walk with him though his journey on the episode. Nothing worth having comes easy and I hope this brings inspiration

  • #EP.004 Whats your Motivation?

    25/07/2014 Duración: 01h12min

There are probably a few better publicity photos of this guy but I chose this particular one for the listeners that might not know Alex personally. This photo to me encapsulates Alex’s sprit. Still able to smile and make time to support others around him, even while recovering from a major injury. Alex continually surprises me with new perspectives and fresh knowledge every time we dive in to conversation. It is an absolute pleasure for me when we can align an opening in our schedules to make time to break bread and discuss life, I am thrilled to be able to share this conversation with all of you. In this episode Alex and I sit down and discuss how growing up overseas developed his appetite for growth and how being how handed down books from his Father got him a jump start in his pursuit for creating something special. In the past few episodes we have focused on discovering ways to help inspire change around us in our own lives. Alex introduces us to the passion project he and his 3 co-founders have dev

  • #EP.003 Stoke Your Passion

    02/07/2014 Duración: 47min

I sit down with one of my best friends Mike Kosareff to discuss his decision to create a change. Mike has reached many people’s definition of success at an early age and is willing to give it all up to chase his dream of becoming a professional Comedian. I know many people out there are struggling with identifying exactly what it is they have passion for and how to transition to a life in living for purpose. Mike explains to us how he made that decision and how he got started in his pursuit of his dream. The first step is always the hardest, but momentum builds. Everyone’s passion is unique and special. Mike is a special individual that always provides me with insight, motivation and challenges me to become better. They might not always be within the letter of the law but it’s good to have unique perspectives to consider.

  • #EP.002 Awakening The Change

    24/06/2014 Duración: 59min

Surround yourself with those on the same mission I have always believed in the mantra that you are a: reflection of the company you keep. I am fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most amazing people in this universe. One individual has become overwhelming influence in my life over the past few years. Joshua Baumgarten is a good friend to me, a world class Strength and Condition Coach to many and is becoming a true Leader to all. Last week I had the opportunity to train under his watchful eye in his gym and recorded our conversation en route to dinner.     In this episode we had to opportunity to discuss our perspectives on the conscious awakening we are experiencing in our own lives. He shares with me his personal journey on how he made the decision to become better and what he is doing to help others realize they too have the opportunity to make shift in consciousness to live better. Joshua has a level of passion that is unmatched and is pushing us all to rise to our true potential. The audio

  • #EP.001 My Journey. My Battle

    19/06/2014 Duración: 01h29min

“The moment that you feel that, just possibly, you're walking down the street naked, exposing too much of your heart and your mind and what exists on the inside, showing too much of yourself. That's the moment you may be starting to get it right.” Neil Gaiman   http://www.uarts.edu/neil-gaiman-keynote-address-2012   I love Podcasting and this is the first of a new series I have coming. This has the worst audio of anything I have recorded but it was hands down the best conversation I have had in my entire life. I am very apprehensive to put this out there but I feel it is important to show my authentic self though this new project. In this conversation I explore my life long battle with Religion, Science and the reality of life that creates a balance between them.     I don’t have all of the answers; or very many and that is okay. I do have a passion to seek the answers, to grow and become better.
