After a brief break we are back with a review and chat about the box-office smash, Dunkirk. We were thrilled to be joined by a friends across the pond, Paul and Brian from Blockbusters Podcast. We start with a lovely catch up and see how everyones Summer has been. To hear everybody's highs and lows in the movie world so far this year. But then we very quickly get into the main topic of discussing and dissecting Christopher Nolan's latest offering, Dunkirk.

Today we take a look at the latest offering from the DC Universe and Warner Brothers with their June release of Wonder Woman staring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. This is the fourth film in the DCU and safe to say that it is probably one of the better ones (even though that's not a hard target to beat). We have a great discussion about this film including the characterisation, set design, costume and use of super powers as well as it being the first female lead superhero film since Elektra in 2005. One of us was not a fan of this film and one of us liked it, see if you can guess who was which. (I'll give you a clue, it's not what you're thinking). We are back with quite an honest review of Doctor Strange. To be honest, neither of us were massive fans of this film, but we know many people were so we discuss the possibilities that this film offered and where it sits in the ever growing, MCU. For the second of this weeks double bill we review the latest Marvel release, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. With a very a high bar set from the first instalment three years prior, we take a look and see if this film lived up to the hype. This film followed a huge marketing campaign on social media and TV and it is clear to see that Marvel and Disney are really gearing up for the Infinity War films. In this film we see the return of the loved characters from the first as well as some new faces including actors Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone who we for one were ecstatic to see back on the big screen. The final act of podcast has us look at something a little different and that is the shocking figures that Guy Ritchie's new film, King Arthur has achieved. We discuss if this is something that we need to expect more often with non comic book films and who is at fault when a film under performs to this level. Enjoy! We are spoiling you this week with a Sylvester Stallone double-bill. Our first is another of our loved BTTP classics series where we take a look at the first in the Rambo series, First Blood. After the success of Rocky, released in 1982 and following several big flops from Sylvester, he knocks it out of the park with this one to create one of the most memorable action stars and films series to date. We take a look at what it is about this film that keeps us wanting to re-watch after all these years. We are back with a short little look at a great film that surfaced last year, Arrival. We were both very impressed with this film that gave a sense of modern realism to one of our favourite movie genres. A film with no links to a book franchise, or Disney or a comic book series, here is just a one off film that came and did what it did very well. With an all star cast, we discuss if we think this is what the public were expecting with this film and the impact we think it may of had on the genre, and it's surprising appearance in this years Oscars. So let us see what all that fuss was about. We delve into La La Land, a film that has taken the musical world by storm and made quite the impression throughout the most recent awards season. This film plays quite closely to one our podcasters heart as it is quite similar to his own life. We take a look to see if it deserves all the fuss or if it is another Godfather syndrome, hoping-on-the-bandwagon example that we see so regularly at the Oscars. We also look at the two leading performances by both Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Obviously, being a musical, this movie offered us a few things we don't normally get the opportunity to look at and review in our normal collection of movies. Hot off the press, ladies and gentlemen! Finally I have found one of these films that Byron actually likes. This is not to be missed. This week we take a look at Logan, Hugh Jackman's final role as the superhero character after 17 years of films, and boy, did he go out in style. With an incredible cast and a fantastic look and feel we explore why this film has done so well and more importantly, why Byron enjoyed it. We draw parallels to Deadpool, Terminator and even Alien for this R-rated box office smash and enjoy a surprising return from a certain Coming To America actor. It's been a year but we are very excited to return with the UONAAA where we team up with our American buddies, Blokebusters Podcast to bring you our highs and lows of the films of 2016. In our own awards show for the year we talk about some of the people and films that don't always get a look in for the more famous awards show. We have decided to return to Sherlock after our first episode about the BBC series two years ago. Sherlock has returned with a new three-part series on the BBC that started on New Years day. In our podcast we are primarily looking at episode one so full spoilers for this epsiode and everything in previous series as well. We kick this new year with a bang with a great chat about the latest Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It's safe to say that neither of us were expecting the film that we saw but we were both pleasantly surprised. With a chat about this amazing film, we also talk about the reprise of some of the films loved characters as well as the incredible use of CGI and visual effects. After we have just lost Carrie Fisher aswell, this seems like a fitting tribute to the late actress. Enjoy! We are back with an honest look at the recent Ghostbusters rema.........sequ........preq......not really sure what it is but we talk about what we saw. A film that had a very low bar set from the beginning. Safe to say that this film wasn't brilliant but it also wasn't as terrible as I think everyone was expecting it to be. Jam packed full of references and nods to the camera from the original this was a fun one to have a chat about. Enjoy!! Returning this week with a look at the recently released, Independence Day: Resurgence. Twenty years since the release of the first film this film had a very high bar set for it from the first which broke records and set new standards for visual effects and the big disaster film. This fim didn't quite live up to it's predecessor unfortunately but you'll have to listen to see how much we thought of it. After we finish talking about ID2, we conclude our chats about the most recent series of Game Of Thrones which ended this week. Be warned, big spoilers alert for the whole season. Enjoy!

We return with the first of a new regular installment, Back To The Podcast: The Classics. In our new feature we occasiaonlly dip into past films that may have been forgotton about or maybe played a big part in our past. In this first installment we take a look at Flight Of The Navigator from 1986. This film played a massive part to both of us when we were growing so we welcomed the oppurtunity with open arms to have a rewatch and review it for you guys. Enjoy!

We return with a look at Deadpool. The R-Rated film that has changed everthing broken every record it could've done. This film breaks the stereotype of a regular superhero film somewhat so we had a lot to discuss but lets just say that our opinions were split on this film. It's worth listening to the end also becauase we also have an informal chat about the new spin on the much loved BBC series, Top Gear. Causing some controversy since the loved trio have exited the program, this one was an interesting topic for debate. Enjoy!! This week we decided to take a lot at a smaller film that has bags of personality. This film kind of felt like it slipped through the net when it came out in the cinema. We are of course talking about 10 Cloverfield Lane and as simple that this film was, it still kept us glued to the edge of our seats with its slow burning suspense and a real sense of claustrophobia.
