      Last week we talked about love being more about displaying actions than saying words. We focused on observing whether people treat us with love or lust. We then debunked if Love really does not cost a thing.  In tonight's episode, we turn the tables on ourselves and see if we meet the description of love or practice the ACTIONS (characteristics) of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. In the process I'm sure we'll see love is also about purity, having a pure heart before God and toward others. According to Scripture possessing a pure heart and motives not only please God but moves Him to bestow blessings on us and answer our requests. To hear more, click the play button! God is love! Waiting in love is waiting IN God.  Waiting in Him is not necessarily the same as waiting on Him. Waiting in God is having your entire existence in Him; it is doing life in Him and not apart from Him. I have to be real with you. If you’re looking for love, don’t look for it on social media, on the T.V. screen, flipping novelettes, or magazines. What do I mean by that? Alright... let’s remain calm, here lol. I’m not saying God can’t bring your husband or wife through social media... I’m saying don’t get the wrong picture of love. Not everything that is posted is genuine... and one more thing? If it looks like love but lacks sacrifice I think it’s lust, or superficial love, my friend. God never leaves His people in poverty and despair for dead. This is not the lifestyle of a believer but in some instances, just a “season”. I believe for many of you, it’s time to say goodbye to it! The season of lack and being underrated. This pandemic may be causing others to lose faith, but you don’t have to? This is important for every believer to know and respect: God is merciful but God doesn’t like to be mocked. Let us not diminish His character, nature, and power. We can’t fool Him. He knows the heart and intent of all. Imagine if God said He loved you but the whole time, He was lyin’ about it. Well, many of us do this to God—through our actions and our motives. You say you love God but does your life confess it. Such discussions must be had. When will all agree that the surface level conversations/messages are outdated? When will we decide to move by the leading of the Spirit. Don’t forget the main message of 2020. It’s not about you, it’s not about me, it’s not about we, it’s about going back to GOD.
