This week the new Joker trailer leaves us divided, a Jedi voices a murder doll, we question AMC's 59 hour long MCU marathon, we interview Justin Stewart, artist and designer of the vampire hunting/reality show comic Bleed Leaders and talk about his approach to his work and how it is important to draw cool looking stuff, and Steve predicts the winners in our Television Sitcom Wrestlemania match ups.   

This week we continue our journey in the Year of Cannon by taking a look at 1983's 10 to Midnight. There's a killer on the loose (and completely nude) that always seems to have the perfect alibi, and there is only one man who can stop him, Leo Kessler AKA Charles Bronson. Will Kessler do whatever it takes to stop this twisted naked man?  

A mini episode of us discussing the new Jordan Peele film 'Us.' We have thoughts and feelings. We do get into spoilers, so if you have not seen the movie, do it now! It's great. 

This week the Guardians get their Gunn, Google is shaking up the video game industry, Bill & Ted set a date for their third adventure, we talk about iconic movie poster artist Drew Struzan and how his work has shaped our love of film, and its sun's out guns out as we take a Spring Break quiz. 

This week we didn't go to Wizard World, Steve wanted to Vulcan Neck Pinch some terrible people, the Skywalker Saga is ending (supposedly), moon rocks will kill us all, Josh Trank wins the internet, we discuss our thoughts and feelings about Captain Marvel (spoilers, starts at 52:30 and ends at 1:49:39), and we celebrate National Potato Chip Day by playing a game of Real of Fake flavors. 

We continue The Year of Cannon by gathering all of our throwing stars, blow guns, nunchucks, and mustaches as we discuss 1981's Enter the Ninja. We are joined by Kevin from the Strange Highways podcast as we all (mostly Paul) fawn over Franco Nero's Cole, an American who shortly after earning the right to be called a Ninja, goes and helps an old war buddy fight off an evil business man who spends most of his time standing by an indoor swimming pool/office berating those around him. Also, there is a surprising amount of cockfighting in a film about ninjas. Do we exit the film in one piece? Listen and find out!

This week Paul hung with Spider-Mans and Future Mans, Steven hung out with He-Mans and She-Mans, angry sad man babies try to defeat Captain Marvel, we want all of the toys from the New York Toy Fair, Thor is playing Hulk Hogan, we share or thoughts and reactions to Alita: Battle Angel (If you would like to avoid spoilers, the discussion is from 1:02-2:01) and then we give out some Invadies, our very low rent version of the Oscars. 

This week Steve survives Florida, Paul survives doing nothing at all, Hulu is setting up The Offenders, DC took our gimmick, Star Wars is getting a green rabbit man (again), we take a look at Kevin Smith's short lived Clerks cartoon and discuss how it was ahead but some of its jokes should stay in the past, and Steven plays Cupid with a Super Hero Mystery Date Mash Up to celebrate Valentine's Day.

This week Netflix doubles down on their Ted Bundy offerings, we no longer have to wonder Y The Last Man isn't already a TV show, we celebrate George Romero on his birthday, we talk about that important DC comics event from 1988, Batman: A Death In The Family and how Batman's loss was driven by reader choice, and Steve asks Paul a lot of loosely based questions surrounding the Super Bowl. 

We start off our Year of Cannon in style, well in a style of sorts, as we look at the science fiction/dicso pop mash up musical from 1980, The Apple. We do the BIM and wear our BIM marks so as not to get ticketed by the BIM police as we talk about Menahmen Golan's unique vision of the future... of 1994. Grab your glitter, hop into your bubble domed car, and drive off into heaven with us as we try to understand what The Apple is made of!

This week we do manly things like shoveling snow and eating chili, we discuss the Oscar nominations, Viacom buying Pluto (the internet TV service, not the planet), a man getting very upset about his wife possibly touching his action figures, we revisit what many people consider to be a horror masterpiece, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, and see if we can approach it with a different perspective, and to celebrate National Compliment Day, we force ourselves to say nice things about stuff we don't like. 

This week Steve can only see the color Breen from now on, we are sad that we can't be excited about a new Ghostbusters film being made, we are excited a new Spider-Man film is coming out soon, we say happy birthday to John Carpenter, we question the nature of choice as we talk about the interactive event that is Black Mirror's Bandersnatch, and Paul makes the perfect video game. 

This week we are joined by special guests El Goro of the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast and Kevin of the Strange Highways podcast as we talk about Batman Beyond turning 20, M. Night Shyamalan having a plan all along, learning that chicken tenders are better when seasoned on asphalt, and we kick off our Year of Cannon by discussing the documentary Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films, and we play a game about real or fake mystery box subscriptions.
