Thanks to a new bill signed into law by Jerry Brown as part of the newly-minted assisted suicide law. SB 282 gives people the freedom to essentially convince loved ones that assisted suicide is the best option if they are terminally ill. Impatient about an inheritance? "Dad, call Dr. Kevorkian." "Hey, it's quick and painless." Classes have only been in session a few weeks and already we’re back to demands to change campuses because decades-old buildings or statues now represent oppression.
