Democrats have long sought a way around the electoral college, which prevents the U.S. from being controlled by major population centers which are Democrat strongholds. Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) introduced two bills on Thursday, one to eliminate the electoral college and the other to prohibit presidents from pardoning themselves or their family members. On Thursday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a warning to Iran about three planned space rocket launches, saying such actions would violate U.N. Security Council resolution 2231. Javad Zarif, the Foreign Minister of Iran, fired back at Pompeo on Twitter, stating that the United States had no right to slam Iran’s testing of ballistic missiles. A California Women's March was canceled because of concerns that its participants have been "overwhelmingly white," the march's organizers said. Karen Straughan is a spokesperson for Men's Rights Edmonton, and a contributor to AVoiceForMen.com  as well as a prominent Men's Rights Advocate who came to public attention

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who vehemently opposed the border wall, calling it “immoral, ineffective and expensive,” and her Democratic colleagues reportedly put together legislation that would reopen the government and allocate $1.3 billion to border security, however, none of that would be allowed to go to a border wall. Gee, that should fix everything. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, whose warning about an impending immigration raid in Northern California sparked the ire of the Trump administration earlier this year, said she has no regrets putting the people of her community first. A breakthrough documentary Finding the Mountain of Moses: The Real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia reveals newly unearthed research about the location of Mount Sinai and the Exodus route to achieve a better understanding of the historical authenticity of the Exodus story. The United Nations is now looking to impose a tax for extraction of fossil fuels to help pay for the growing costs of damage from harsher storms, wildfires, floods and rising seas while providing a stronger incentive to wean the world off carbon-heavy energy. The tax would lay the cost of rising disaster losses directly on the industries “most responsible” for them, according to a report released at U.N. climate negotiations in Poland. Tom Harris, Executive Director of the International Climate Science Coalition, will join me to talk about it. When the duo of Art Kulik and Ashton Bingham created Trilogy Media, a YouTube channel featuring live skits to annoy and generally waste the time of incessant telemarketing calls they were being besieged with, they didn't realize that they were starting a social media juggernaut which also provided instruction to viewers seeking to avoid the scams.
