Stand-up comedian and film and TV star Joey Bragg stops by da crib. We discuss the evolution of his stand-up after he 'bloomed' (went through puberty), how he's avoided the pitfalls of being a Disney actor, and his plans to become a mercenary when he gives up this whole acting charade. 

Michael Kostka is a former professional hockey player and one of my best friends on the planet. I stopped by his home in Toronto to talk about the highs and lows of his hockey career, the first time we met when he was playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and other hilarious memories from our beautiful friendship. This week, D.J. has the distinct honour of speaking with one of his favourite musicians of all time, Mr. Peter Elkas. They discuss how Peter provided D.J. his first ever concert experience (in 2003!), Peter's multiple encounters with Bruce Springsteen, and the evolution of his  music through the years. We talked about her experiences as a mixed Native American/Black woman in life and comedy, her repeat encounters with a Peeping Tom, and other fun stuff! (Not that Peeping Toms are fun. More terrifying than anything.) 

Reem Edan is an Iraqi-American comedian who was born in Colorado and now lives here in L.A. We talked about her feelings of being an outsider, coming thisclose to attending Harvard, and that time she found God at Burning Man in 2016.

My good pal and fellow Canadian, Ivan Decker, stops by my place in Burbank to talk about his Netflix special, the undeserved bad reputation of nuclear energy, and that time his dad karate kicked a would-be burglar in the face and threw him in a dumpster. 

We're back, baby! My great friend, JR De Guzman, stops by my place to talk about his outstanding stand-up special on Netflix, the power of a heart-to-heart hug, and he even creates a new theme song for the podcast!

My old pal Robby Hoffman stops by for a nice little chat. She is an excellent stand-up and a comedy writer, most recently for the Chris Gethard Show in NYC.  She grew up with 9 siblings and a hard of hearing Mom, so she has some unique insight into the deaf experience. She's the best!
