God’s Word is like a sword - living and active, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Pastor Mike’s message details how the Sword of the Spirit, also known as the Word of God is used for both warfare and surgery. When Jesus walked the earth and faced attacks and temptations of the devil, He responded with the Word and the devil fled. A good physician wouldn’t cause pain without a purpose. So in a spiritual sense, when our flesh is “cut” we know that God is working to remove things that are causing us harm. When we allow the word to reveal and cut out what doesn’t belong, God flows through us and we grow in Him.

Mary of Bethany wanted nothing more than to sit at the feet of Jesus. She took what was most costly to her - an alabaster box full of costly perfume and broke it open and poured it out on her Lord. This powerful teaching by Pastor John reminds us of how Jesus is worthy of it all - our worship, our hearts, and our lives. - 03/26/22

We are continuing our journey around Asia Minor as we take a look at the third church addressed in John's Revelation letter. Pastor Alex talks about the history of the church at Pergamum and how they had held fast to God, even in the midst of persecution - yet they had fallen into compromise. This message is extremely applicable to the church today and is a powerful reminder that we must stay holy before God. There is a promise for the believer who overcomes. 03/20/22  

Wherever Jesus walked, miracles happened. The Son of Man came so that God in the flesh could be manifested on earth. As human beings, there is a lot that we cannot do, but when the supernatural manifests, anything is possible. Pastor Alex's powerful word reminds us that God's power is greater than any crisis we could ever face in life. The church has a mandate to operate in the supernatural power of God.  03/19/22

In Part 3 of the Revelation Series, Pastor Alex gives us a history of the Church of Smyrna - also known as the Persecuted Church. In John's letter to the Church of Smyrna, we learn about standing strong in faith, even in the face of terrible trials and persecution and being faithful to our King to the very end.  03/13/22

Philippians 4:19 says "and my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." So often the world and all of its cares can cause us to live under stress, condemnation, or other troubles. But Jesus Himself is our peace. He is our healer. Not only does He heal our bodies, but also our minds and our spirits. He is Enough.- 03/12/22 | 

The series on the book of Revelation continues as Pastor Alex unpacks the letter to Ephesus - the first of the seven churches that the Apostle John addresses. In this sermon, we learn about the history of Ephesus - including the morals, dedication, and hard work of the ancient church. We learn about how they had many things right in their walk with God, but had forgotten their first love. We need to be careful to never get so caught up in our works that we forget Jesus; the very reason we are part of the Kingdom of God.- 03/06/22 

We've all had moments where we feel rejected from the people in our lives, whether it be our coworkers, classmates, friends, or family members. Pastor Alex talks about a character in the Bible who had been rejected a number of times, yet God still used him in a mighty way - this individual being King David.- 03/05/22 

Pastor Alex began the series on Revelation, starting in chapter 1. This message lays the foundation for the prophetic book as we read about John the Disciple describing the encounter that he had with the Lord while he was exiled on the Island of Patmos. The Lamb of God, the Alpha and the Omega, Jesus Christ, the Almighty, is coming on the clouds. We see the vivid descriptions of Jesus as He walks among the seven lamp stands. John is then commanded to write down what he sees and share it with the seven churches. When I saw him, I fell at His feet as though dead. But he laid His right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." - Revelation 1:17-18.           - 02/28/22  

Are you worried about tomorrow? In today's world, there are many distractions and cares that will bring the temptation to worry. Pastor Alex brought a powerful word from 1 Kings 17 about the prophet Elijah and the story of the flour and oil never running out until God ended the famine.
