Today is our fifth Sunday questions and answers. Chris asks Pastor Roger some tough and thought-provoking questions about the book of Revelation and the Great White Throne Judgment. A question about incest and intermarriage in the Old Testament. He also discusses the topic of dinosaurs and if they were on Noah’s Ark.

Today we say goodbye to the Philippians as Pastor Roger brings us the Apostle Paul’s concluding remarks to them. And although there may be a tendency to gloss over these last four verses, there are some very practical lessons for us to learn as we look at Paul’s heart. Now listen to three final reminders from Paul’s heart of worship.

Everyone worries. And we worry because we care. But if our worries go unchecked, the results can be catastrophic. In today’s sermon, Pastor Steven reminds us of the sovereignty of God, teaching us four reasons not to worry. And yes, we may have good reasons to worry, but God has better reasons not to.

Assumptions can be dangerous. And so much of what we assume about others turn out to be totally different from what we originally thought. What we assumed was not true. We must not let the mundane be the aim of our thinking. Instead, we must focus on what is true. Worry will consume us and take our focus away from the Lord. So why do we do it? Christians tend to abuse the term "fellowship" in the Church today to mean fellow believers simply spending time together. As opposed to true biblical fellowship which is Christ centered. Today, Pastor Roger looks at how the Apostle Paul handles a situation between two women in the church at Philippi and draws from it four attitudes in pursuing biblical fellowship.

Why do you serve others? What is the motivation of your heart? Yes, we are told to follow Paul’s example, but there must be more to service than just external obedience. The truth is, when it comes to serving others, your heart attitude matters to God. And today, Pastor Roger explains what that attitude must be as he teaches four Christlike consequences of a servant’s heart.

Do you long for heaven more than the things of this world? Sometimes we may lose sight, but as believers we must realize that this world is not our home, but our citizenship is in heaven. Never forgetting, that while we are here, we are ambassadors for Christ and He has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

You are defined by what your heart longs for. That being said, if we are to grow in spiritual maturity, we must follow Christ wholeheartedly. There is no secret to spiritual growth. There are no gimmicks. There is nothing new. In fact, God wants you to grow.
