  • 204 - The Thermometer

    28/08/2016 Duración: 45min

Overview – The Thermometer. 1 John 3:10-18. In our message today John made some very plain, but very powerful statements about who is really saved, and who is not really saved. He tells us some really easy ways to tell the difference between a true child of God, and a child of the devil. I title this sermon thermometer because I see here how God through John is giving people a thermometer, or gauge to be able to see if they are really in Christ, or not. What do you think about yourself? Would you consider yourself a saved child of God, or not? If you would consider yourself to be saved, and on the way to Heaven when you die, I wonder if God would say the same? Please come and take a listen to what John says here, and see what his thermometer says about you. May the Lord richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 203 - He Who Sins Is Of The Devil

    21/08/2016 Duración: 51min

Overview – He Who Sins Is Of The Devil. 1 John 3:4-9. In our sermon today we studied a very confusing section of scripture, in fact one of the hardest sections of scripture to understand in the entire Bible. Why is this a hard section to understand? Look at just a couple of statements that John makes in this section. John declares in vs 6 “Whoever abides in Him does not sin.” And in Vs. 8 “the person who sins is of the devil.” Taking these scriptures at face value, the Bible says that everyone sins, which means that nobody abides in Christ, and everyone is from the devil, which in turn means that nobody is gonna be saved, but can that really be true? What about Christ’s death on the cross that is supposed to cleanse the sinner from their sins and make them clean before God spiritually. How does this apply if everyone who sins doesn’t abide in Jesus Christ, and is of the devil? The Bible says that no one that is of the devil will be saved. Do you see why this section of scripture is very confusing

  • 202 - The Spiritual Children Of God

    14/08/2016 Duración: 49min

Overview – The Spiritual Children Of God. 1 John 1-3. In my sermon today I teach the first three verses of John’s first Gospel in which he gives God’s spiritual children some really good news. I also talk about some really good news for all humanity. John tells all those whom God has redeemed that they have become God’s children. And I don’t mean that people become God’s physical children because every human being is created by God making them by default a physical child of God, but John tells those whom God has redeemed that they have become God’s spiritual children. What is so amazing about becoming a spiritual child of God? Why would anyone want to become a spiritual child of God? And, do you know if you are a spiritual child of God? Come take a listen and find out the answers to these question, and be blown away by all of the good news I speak about today. May the Lord richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 201 - Only IF You Continue To Abide

    07/08/2016 Duración: 57min

Overview - Only IF You Continue To Abide. 1 John 2:24-29. In our sermon today we focus on John’s command to Christians in vs 24: Therefore, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. He just told them to abide or stay in in what they had heard (from the disciples) from the beginning of knowing them. And in vs 26 he tells us that he gives them this command in light of what he says in his previous section, where he warns them that many antichrist’s had come teaching antichrist teachings, or teachings against Jesus Christ. Why would John give this command if once a person was saved they would always be saved no matter what they started to believe, or how they started to live? I believe that it is because a person is only going to go to Heaven IF they continue to abide IN Jesus THEEE Christ, His teachings, and His ways until they die, and I believe that John tells us the same thing here. I also believe that Jesus Himself warns us of the not continuing in Him until we die, so I go over numer

  • 200 - Jesus Is THEEE Christ

    24/07/2016 Duración: 01h01min

Overview – Jesus Is THEEE Christ. 1 John 2:18-23. In my message today we study the words of John on the full proof way to know for sure, who is an antichrist, or false prophet, and a liar according to the Christian faith. Jesus said in Matthew 24:11 that many false prophets will rise up and deceive many, in speaking of the many people who would come in the last days, and believe and teach teachings that went against His own teachings, also known as antichrist teachings. Now the Bible speaks LOUD and clear that there is only ONE Christ, and ONE way to Heaven, and that this ONE way, and One Christ is the Jesus of the New Testament of the Bible, who lived on earth almost 2,000 years ago. What does John have to say about those who believe that there are other ways, or many ways to Heaven? How do we know that Jesus really was THEEE Christ? Come take a listen and find out the answers to these questions in my sermon titled, “Jesus Is THEEE Christ”. May God bless you richly, as you deeply seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 199 - The Dangerous Love

    17/07/2016 Duración: 50min

Overview – The Dangerous Love. 1 John 2:15-17. John starts off this small section in the midst of this chapter with some very direct, firm and harsh words to Christians about the love of the world. He opens up with the command to all Christians, “Do Not love the world or the things of the world.” I named this sermon “The Dangerous love”, because John says that if a Christian loves the world or the things of the world, the love of Father God is not in them. Is John saying that Christians can’t love the world in any way? Is John really saying that if a Christian loves anything in the world, then the love of God is not within them? Does this command to not love the world, or the things in the world include not loving their spouse, child, mom, dad, or brother, sister? This sermon covers all of these questions, and more. So come, take a listen to find out the answers. May God bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 198 - Their Spiritual Conditions

    10/07/2016 Duración: 01h05s

Overview – Their Spiritual Conditions. 1 John 2:12-14. In our message today, John gives us a run-down of the categories of the spiritual conditions of those that are enduring and abiding in Christ Jesus. He tells us that the categories are: Little children, young adults, and fathers in the faith of Jesus Christ. John also goes through these three categories, of all Christians spiritual conditions, and gives us some characteristics of what these three categories of Christians should look like. If you believe yourself to be a follower of Christ, which category would you put yourself into? What are the characteristics that John gives to each of these spiritual conditions? You will have to know the characteristics of the spiritual conditions before you can place yourself into any one of these 3 categories. So happy choosing, and happy listening. Blessings Pastor Ed

  • 197 - Homosexual Marriage In The Bible

    03/07/2016 Duración: 43min

Overview – Homosexual Marriage In The Bible. Genesis 2:20-24. In our sermon today we break the mold for a week. Normally we go verse by verse through the Bible, but today, because of a very interesting conversation I was involved in this last week, we cover a very controversial topic in our modern society, homosexuality, and Homosexual Marriage. What does God really have to say about homosexuality and homosexual marriage in the Bible? Does He really think of it as sin? Do the two most popular verses in the New Testament, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Tim:1, that condemn homosexuality, really condemn homosexuality? You might be surprised as to what you hear in this message. Please take a listen and see what God really has to say on homosexuality, and homosexual marriage in the Bible. May God bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 196 - Love One Another As I Have Loved You

    26/06/2016 Duración: 54min

Overview – Love One Another As I Have Loved You. 1 John 2:7-11. Love or not to love, that’s the question? Does God love everyone in the world, and should Christians love everyone in the world? Is it Ok in God’s eyes for a Christian to harbor resentment, or hatred in their hearts for a fellow Christian, or not? A bunch of questions is all that this overview will peak your interest with, but John speaks very clearly on the topic of love in 1 John chapter 2, and I teach on the difficult things that he has to say, to all of God’s kids today. Hope you listen to the sermon, and I really hope you search your hearts as the scripture is being read and explained. May God bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 195 - The Test Of Knowing Him

    19/06/2016 Duración: 59min

Overview – The Test Of Knowing Him. 1 John 2:1-6. The title really says it all in this case, as far as what this sermon is all about. John simply, but powerfully, in this section of his first epistle, tells us that if you a person is really saved, so a real Christian, they will be obedient to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Today I talk about what some of these are, from the Bible, and we take a good test of whether or not we really know Him, or if we just know of Him. What does it mean to know Jesus, or know of Jesus? Isn’t that just the same things said a different way? Do you know Jesus Christ, or do you just know of Him? And if you say, “I know Him”, how do you know that you are correct? I answer all of these questions and more in this sermon titled, “The Test Of Knowing Him”. May God richly bless you as you diligently seek Him Pastor Ed.

  • 194 - Be Holy For I Am Holy

    05/06/2016 Duración: 57min

Overview – Be Holy For I Am Holy. 1 John 1:5-10. John has some news to tell us in this section about a message that Jesus Christ gave about God when He walked on earth in the flesh. That message: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all. But that is not the only message John has for us today. He also tells us that since God is light, those who profess Him are supposed to walk in the light, and not in that darkness. What is the light that God is? What is the darkness that God IS NOT? What does John mean by telling those that profess Him they need to walk in the light? I answer all these questions and more in this sermon titled, “Be holy for I am holy”. May God richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 193 - Jesus Christ - The Word Of Life, But Do You Doubt?

    29/05/2016 Duración: 48min

Overview - Jesus Christ - The Word Of Life, But Do You Doubt? 1 John 1:1-4. In my sermon today I taught the first four verses of John’s first epistle, or letter. And in these very powerful first words of John’s epistle, John gives us some of THE most powerful I-witness testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ that anyone has ever given since He came to earth, almost 2,000 years ago. John absolutely gives us some infallible proofs of the existence of Jesus Christ, absolutely proving that Jesus was no figment of anyone’s imagination. What does John say that proves the Lord Jesus’ existence? Are there other things that John did that prove the existence of Jesus Christ? I discuss this in depth, that you may believe, be saved, and have joy in this knowledge. • 192 - The Unknown God

    22/05/2016 Duración: 55min

Overview – The Unknown God. Acts 17:16-27. Paul is preaching in Athens while he is waiting for Timothy and Silas to come to Him because his spirit is provoked within him. His spirit is provoked within him because he sees that the people of the city are given over to idols. In the midst of Paul’s preaching God drops a divine appointment in his lap as some philosophers hear him preaching Jesus Christ, and they bring him to the Areopagus to preach. Paul goes unto those of the Areopagus, and preaches a sermon, and boy oh boy, what an amazing sermon he preaches. My sermon focuses on some of this sermon he preaches to them. This is one of my most favorite sections of scripture in the entire Bible. What kind of things did Paul teach them about their unknown God? Why was Paul’s sermon amazing? Come take a listen and find out. May God richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 191 - The Touch Of Christ

    15/05/2016 Duración: 57min

Overview - The Touch of Christ. Matthew Ch. 8:1-4. In our sermon today we take an in depth look at a leper who comes to Jesus Christ with an impossible request, and how Jesus responds to him, and what He does to fulfill this man's request. How does this leper come to Christ? And does Jesus cast him off, because He is too busy, or does He respond favorably? Come and check out the sermon and see what happens. May God richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 190 - When All Forsook Me, The Lord Stood With Me

    08/05/2016 Duración: 55min

Overview – When All Forsook Me, The Lord Stood With Me. 2 Tim 4:11-22. In my sermon today we study the last words of Paul to Timothy in his second book. Paul is in prison in Rome, and Tim is about to come and visit him, and Paul closes this letter with some is requests, some bad news, and a warning for Timothy once he gets into Rome, near where Paul is staying. I touch on the requests that Paul makes of Timothy, but I mainly focus the message on the bad news of how all those whom Paul loved (fellow brethren in Christ) in Rome, forsook him at a trial by Alexander the coppersmith, who did him much harm, and the good news of how the Lord stood with him to strengthen him through all that happened to him. Does God still uphold, strengthen, and stand by the sides of people today, when loved ones, or friends, forsake them, or they go through terrible and horrible times in their lives? I believe He does because He is the same today, as He was in Paul’s day. But whom does God stand by, help, and strengthen? Do

  • 189 - The Crown Of Righteousness

    01/05/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Overview – The Crown Of Righteousness. 2 Timothy 4:5-10. In our sermon today Paul encourages Timothy to keep being faithful to, and finish the ministry that God had given him to do, and he writes this to in light of how he had been faithful to finish the race for Jesus Christ, and was now at the end of his life. Timothy was in need of continuing to be faithful to Jesus Christ, Paul was at the end of the road of being faithful to Jesus Christ. Why would continuing to be faithful to Jesus Christ until the end of one’s life be important? Because as Paul also says in this section, there is a crown of righteousness that is waiting to be attained, which can only be attained IF we endure in the faith of Christ being in Christ until the end of our lives. • 188 - The Gospel Without Repentance

    24/04/2016 Duración: 01h41s

Overview – The Gospel Without Repentance. (The church of the last days) 2 Timothy 4:1-5. Today we start the beginning of the last chapter of 2 Timothy, but we study the last day’s church, where the people will bring in a Gospel of Jesus Christ without repentance, or a Gospel according to their own desires. Why is repentance so important to the Gospel? Can someone have eternal salvation without repentance? What is a Gospel according to someone’s own desires? I answer these questions, plus talk about how the church will get this way, and where the church is at today. May God richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 187 - The Perilous Last Days

    17/04/2016 Duración: 01h02s

Overview – The Perilous Last Days. 2 Timothy 3:10-17. Paul tells Timothy in this section of scripture, that evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, in speaking of the last days. I believe that we are in the last days that Paul spoke of in this section, right now, April 2016. Who exactly is Jesus Christ according to the Bible? Do you know what the Bible really says about how someone gets to Heaven? Are you born again? What does it mean to be born again? There are many false teachings of the Bible today, and many churches and denominations don’t even encourage you to read the Bible for yourself. With us being in the last days right now, and Paul saying of these same last days, that these evil men would be deceivers, how do you know if your church has taught you the right answers to the questions I asked above? I have asked these questions to many, and most have given wrong answers according to what the Bible actually and literally says. So, in my sermon today,

  • 186 - The Last Days Religious Impostors

    10/04/2016 Duración: 01h01min

Overview - The Last Days Religious Impostors. 2 Timothy 3:1-9. In our sermon today we read some more of Pau’s letter to Timothy. This time he writes to him in regards to the last days, or the days that proceed the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He tells us that these days will be very perilous, or evil. And he says that these days will be this way because of the very evil people that will be alive and acting very unholy towards God. But in a shock, Paul actually tells us that these very evil people, who will be acting very unholy towards God, will be religious, and have a form of godliness, but will deny it’s power. What does this mean? How can someone be very religious yet be very evil, and act in very unholy ways towards God? And, when will these last days be? I cover these questions and the sad and sobering words of Paul of the evil last days, in my sermon titled, The Last Days Religious Impostors. May God richly bless you as you diligently seek Him Pastor Ed

  • 185 - Love Is Not Optional

    03/04/2016 Duración: 58min

Overview – Love Is Not Optional. 2 Timothy 2:22-26. Jesus said in John 13:34 - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. In our sermon today, we read the words that Paul wrote to Timothy on how to accomplish this in the way Christians respond to one another, along with how we should respond to those who don’t believe. Paul teaches Christians today on how to handle disputes with other Christians, as well as those who are not Christians, and tells us why. God calls Christians to love, and love is what we should do, and not in word only, but in actions and deeds. Enjoy the sermon. May God richly bless you as you seek Him Pastor Ed.
