Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  Please take time each day to slow down and Thank God for the people in your life and for “all the little and big things” HE has blessed you with.Yes, 2020 has been hard.  Yes, God is still GOOD (Psalm 42 & 43).This Sunday we will GIVE THANKS!!  I will be teaching from the Book of Luke about the 10 lepers who were healed.  If you remember the story, only ONE of those healed, whose lives had been completely changed, returned to give thanks to Jesus.  Thanks-giving is a right response to God’s goodness in our lives.  It is also a very powerful tool that helps us get through hard times and keep our focus above instead of below. This week our subject is SABBATH.  If you are excellent at resting in Jesus.  If you are already good at pacing yourself and having a good balance of work and recovery, feel free to take this weekend off.  But, IF you may need a little, or a lot, of help in this area I hope you will join us!   Sunday will not be a guilt trip to tell you to take a day off.  It WILL be an invitation from Jesus for all of us to find our rest in HIM and to live less frantic lives.visit us at: conejochurch.com

Hi Conejo friends and family.  I hope you are well this week as we watch all the election results come in.  I love the words of Psalm 146 - “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save… Blessed are those whose … hope is in the Lord their God.”This Sunday will be amazing.  We are moving back indoors together for the season and our big subject is WORSHIP!  I can’t wait.  We will be learning together what Jesus meant when He said to worship “in Spirit and in Truth”.  We will enjoy our Lord in a few different ways, including with some of our favorite worship songs.  We will also be taking communion together…visit us at: conejochurch.com
