This episode of LOW is commenced by Johnny discussing why the LOW episodes are no longer going to have a date. Maria seems to indifferent on whether there is a date mentioned in the podcast or not. Moving on to Johnny realizing that he does not know a lot of a certain topic. He admits that it is harder to listen to your own advice then to give advice and Maria agrees with him. He talks about the two major relationships he has had in his life, how they are different and how they are the same. Johnny mentions in passing a subscription service that he really likes. Nearing the end, Johnny decides to wants to read to a letter he received from a girl in 1996. He came across this letter while cleaning off his desk! Imagine that! The conversation starts out by Johnny pointing out to Maria that since the last podcast was put out Maria and Johnny had just gotten back together and she is still here. Then the topic of planning for a marriage vs. planning for a wedding goes up for debate. Johnny thinks that people spend more planning their wedding instead of planning for their marriage. Such as who is going to do dishes and so forth vs. where do you want to have the wedding. Figuring who does what in the relationship can be a little tricky it seems to be. Johnny’s biggest point is what do you do when your partner does not follow through on what they say consistently, to the point where you don’t want to ask them to do anything? Amin and Maria discuss why they are both present recording a podcast. Maria explains a little bit about why and how she got to where she is now in terms of a relationship. Amin talks about him coming for a visit and how he disappeared for a little while. Not long after, Johnny joins the conversation and mentions where he and Maria stand in terms of a relationship or not. Johnny brings up the topic of scheduling things far in advance and asks Amin why he has a hard time making commitments that are far out. Amin responds as to why he is that way and then Maria comments about one major thing of why Amin might not like things schedules so far out. Johnny starts off the conversation by admiring a new gadget he has that he has been waiting for for a while now. Johnny and Maria then go into the details about the paleo diet. They talk about the guidelines, what you should or shouldn’t eat, and benefits. They talk about about some recipes that they really like including the recipe that Johnny likes the most. The benefits of having a podcast are talked about and Johnny talks a walk down memory lane and mentions what he likes about having a podcast and blog. Johnny brings up that he and Maria have been and are going through some extremely difficult and stressful situations. He realizes some things about that. He asks the listeners help with learning to forgive or to understand the concept of forgiveness. What can he do to learn to forgive? Maria asks the listeners for help on learning to trust yourself and then learning to trust other people with your most inner self. Johnny also brings up the missed in action friend, Amin, who has let Johnny know that he is planning to visit all the way from Canada! Whether this is a for sure thing is yet to be determined. Johnny talks about an unexpected present for his birthday this year and it just so happens to come from his mother. What makes it weirder is that they do not give each other presents but for some odd reason this year his mother decided to send him a happy birthday email with some memories and photographs. Johnny reads the emails each talking about his birthdays in very extravagant detail. She starts out by talking about the year Johnny was born and that it just so happened to be a bicentennial year. Then she continues on to talk about Johnny’s first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and with doubtful finality the eight birthday. For each birthday she describes who attended, what the theme was, and various other details. Johnny finds these emails quite odd yet interesting. Johnny asks the audience for help if they know how to work with WordPress. Dear is turning the BIG 20 on Tuesday. Anyone is welcome to send her happy birthday wishes. Johnny would really like to have Mrs. Tonne on the podcast using Skype and she is finding out that Johnny doesn’t like to type. Five years ago, Johnny began to feel his whole body hurt as if he had the flu. He went on a search for a primary care physician and the diagnosis was that he had fibromyalgia. He went on to see two more doctors and one of them added to the diagnosis that he had hyperactive nerves. Johnny has been to a plethora of psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors and to this day he is  seen the same psychiatrist for about 8 years. The psychiatrist has tried everything and nothing works. Johnny has tried everything the doctors have asked him to do in the order they prescribe it and nothing has worked.
