Derek channels his inner Louis CK and rants about the word homophobe, Paul gets on a soap box, and they both list their favorite Christmas movies. This nearly lost episode was saved thanks to backup audio recordings, which is why the sound kinda sucks. Then again, the hosts also make it kind of suck, too.  This is a Detroit free episode, but that doesn't mean there's no fun! A stuffy nosed Paul dominates the first half of this podcast, giving a history of the Indianapolis Colts, more bad Canadian accents, and music references to Weird Al, Coolio, Eminem, and ICP. And speaking of ICP, Paul and Derek live comment through portions of a documentary Derek found about the Gathering of the Juggaloos--hardcore fans of the Insane Clown Posse. Derek takes over in the second half with more comic book talk after a false episode ending worthy of "The Return of the King." As the title implies, we tackle some real topics in this episode. Don't fret, though, faithful listeners. We still attempt to out-crude Kevin Smith, all the while hearing bad Canadian accents, Derek admitting to being an abusive father, Paul's dating advice to a 13 year old, and Paul once again trying to talk about Broadway musicals. Derek also shines in his nuanced review of iOS7, a detailed reminiscence of buying a Gateway computer at the Gateway store, and a beautiful description of a hypothetical conversation between the creators of "The Wizard of Oz" dreaming of the way color phasing will be used in the "Human Centipede" series. And Paul finally gives the weekly Rape Segment a theme song. Plan to listen to this marathon episode twice!

The last of the episodes recorded with the earlier sound setup, we take a setp back in audito quality but take a giant LEAP forward with content! This was supposed to be a quick story that unlocked the rage that launched this podcast. The tech support segment is just a warm up to Paul's domination of the conversation--an hour of movie theater horror stories from the perspective of the people you look down upon--the theater employees! Hopefully you will listen to this episode and share it with your friends, loved ones, and people you would never see a movie with because they are completely obnoxious! This is the episode that could change the world...

Oh boy, are you all in for a treat with the latest episode! We debut our new audio quality for your listening pleasure, and along the way have something for everyone to enjoy! We have a PETA segment, a Vitriol segment, and a...rape joke appreciation segment? Would you expect less from us? Wait, don't answer that... Starting this week we have decided to title each episode. This episode is a bit off, probably having to do with NyQuil and...um...other drugs that keep the hosts from being as funny as they usually are. So the laugh quotient is down to around two. But that shouldn't stop you from listening, because we have some serious discussions about McDonald's workers on strike, gay marriage supporters getting a bakery shut down, and Derek contradicting himself on wishing harm upon people. Similar to watching a train wreck in action, only without the humor, we give you episode 11!

Episode 10 is here! In this fun-filled-yet-nutritous-for-the-brain episode we talk about secrets! No, not our secrets, but our government's secrets! Derek and Paul break down the Bradley Manning...err...Chelsea Manning verdict, Paul spews vitriol for Julian Assange (which we're pretty sure is covering up a secret man crush), Derek discusses his modern act of chivalry at the Circle K, and Paul ADMITS to a man-crush on Keanu Reeves. He also makes a second reference to "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." Oh, and we discuss Batfleck. So don't miss the first double digit poscast!

This week there will be no witty description of the topics in the new episode. But you can expect all the insightful social commentary on current events and pop culture. Only without the insight. Without further ado, EPISODE 9!

After listening to our past shows, we decided the low quality of the content deserved a lower fidelity as well! So this episode should not chew up as much of your data plan. And probably not your brain cells either. We start the show off with a racist bang, and then float in a stream-of-consciousness manner through topics ranging from winners that file class action lawsuits to video games to reality tv to fantasy football. And in the center Paul talks at length about porn. Don't miss the hodgepodge that is Episode 8!

In this episode, we mourn the temporary loss of one of our hosts, but we try to fill the gap with TWO special guests, Brian McMaster and Seth Frohbeiter.  We discuss all things Wolverine (SPOILER ALERTS) and the X-Men as well as comics in general. Also we geek out a little bit and talk about some good ol' American pro wrasslin'.  We then talk about the advantages of rogain on one's nether regions, then we eventually turn on ourselves and come to the conclusion that we've made the the worst podcast ever. All this and more in this week's episode double header!

After a brief hiatus (again) Derek and Paul are back with an episode dominated by the city of Detroit. Yes, as they say, you can't have Detroit without the R-I-O-T, and the Viral Citizens fill the bill with laughs. And common sense. We talk about the problems that caused the fabled city of Eminem to file bankruptcy, as well as our suggestion for job creation and revitalization (hint: it involves zombies). We also talk about real live potential zombies, Paul getting booed by 17,000 people, and Carlos Danger. Don't miss episode 6!

No, you're not reading that wrong. This is Episode 5. The extended break in podcasts came from a week off, and then a major malfunction of software lunacy that resulted in a lost episode. Well, it's not totally lost, but won't bee seeing the light of day any time soon. So instead we forge ahead! This episode is all things Trayvon! Dissected in the way only the Viral Citizens can, we talk about the FACTS of the cast, and in the process talk about the news, celebriites, and Madonna's Camel Toe. You know you missed us.

Episode Three: now featuring better audio quality! And with better audio quality comes classical music and ridiculous comments, including Derek trumpeting the value of alcohol addiction, Paula Deen acting “Like a Boss,” celebrity meltdowns, Paul giving a long synopsis of the pilot episode of the 1982 TV series “Voyagers!”, and ten minutes reading a court filing. And someone drops the N-BOMB. Guess who.
