Northern State athletic director Bob Olson is this week's guest. He talks about an upcoming NSU athletic department event. On Sept. 21 at Melgaard Park in Aberdeen, all ages in the region will have a chance to mingle with the NSU coaches and student-athletes in a free picnic. The event, intended for the entire region, will feature a free meal from noon to 2 p.m. as well as activities for youth and adults. The NSU music department is also involved in this event and will be providing music for it. "It will be a great afternoon of fun and fellowship," said Northern State athletic director Bob Olson.

Milbank football fans have a lot to like in Grant Count Review teammates Jeff Natalie-Lees and Debbie Hemmer. The duo from the Milbank newspaper produced a 48-page, two-section tab as part of the recent celebration of 100 years of Milbank football. Hemmer is this week’s guest on the American News Sports Internet radio show. She talks about the project and how it came about.
