The end of April's Scifi versus Religious Bullshit has arrived, and we pulled out all the stops this week on Unbuckling the Bible Belt. Before we delve into the realm of science fiction and theoretical physics, we took time to remember where we were on 7-11, checked back in on South Carolina's H.B. 2 law, and listened to Kate fall into rant mode in regards to faith healing parents and the harm they cause their children. Then she felt better because Lawrence Krauss stopped in for a brief visit to discuss gravitational waves, warp drive, and the fantastic learning opportunities we can enjoy for a lifetime thanks to our Universe and all its mysteries we are still trying to discover.

In this week's episode Kate and Joe tackle the big issues on their own.  Does the Pope really feel "The Bern"? In this episode we welcome back two of the baddest bitches on the block……..Joe Kindic and Adam Phuzen!  We also talk about the happiest death on the planet….that of Antonin Scalia.  Then we revisit our friend Zika to find out of she really is the harbinger of microcephaly we said she was.  In the end we talk a little about NaNoCon, Kate's presentation there, and how we'll all be there if any of our listeners want to meet us!
