Paul" The worship of the Lord is vital for a culture to survive, As we enter an era where worshipping the Lord is a free for all, or even an optional exercise, this sermon points out the world must listen, must bow the knee to Christ, or deadness sets in.....

"My prayers are sin"..."Unprofitable and forgetful hearer." These sentiments, more like confessions, were routine elements in our first president, George Washingtons prayers. But indeed as he was brought low, he confessed how thankful he was that the Lord even considered him for the great tasks given him. In this sermon, Thankfulness is proffered by many that are shown the true glory of the Church and the Christian faith....

From the Pilgrim forefathers came the Triumph of an Idea, as Alexis de Toqueville put it. But there is more, much more. As the Triumph of an Idea came with a great cost. In this sermon the Cost is discussed in terms of Love, the Law of God and what God wants in place: righteousness.

In this sermon the vital role of the Church is revealed in that the Keys of the Kingdom are loosed and bound by the Church. The Church is key to binding Satan, and that starts in the Hearts, and then is applied to the world about.

Christ reveals Himself to us by His word. In the Joshua account, Joshua bids the people to serve the Lord. And then they say " we will serve the Lord.' But Joshua's reply was " You cannot serve the Lord!" Well, then How can you serve the Lord? We must be silenced first, then hear the word of the Lord.

Let your light so shine, for they shall see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. In this sermon the tracing of the Lords acting in History concerning His people, their spread of the gospel and the change of cultures that resulted from a faithful Church.

When the Light of the Gospel departs from an area, the void is taken by a seemingly miraculous, incredible occultist sweep. Where was once the heralded gospel, it is as if Satan glories in having placed his flag where the gospel once stood. In this sermon the mercies of God are discussed in detail and shown that the Mercies of God is what grant us His presence, the mercies of God make known our dependence on the Lord.

In this sermon, the Wonderous, or miraculous nature of the working of the Lord in the Earth, known as Pala in scripture, is discussed as pertains to the Holy Spirit governing the world. For example, The Cross of Christ represents Christ Justified, the truth will not disappear, and God's people will not disappear. In short the Cross tramples the kingdom of Satan.

The Greeks had the wisdom of the world. Unfortunately their "wisdom" ultimately resounded to witty sayings, which don't have general applicability. We need the practical Wisdom, which comes from the fear of God. This type of Wisdom will be able to cut through the curse and confront evil. Interesting Notes in the Sermon: Davey Crockett and the Blind, his heart was that of a kind man, with a warriors heart. George Washington, an Anglican who looked at the Sister America that was running with the Presbyterian Parson and wanting what they had for Governance of men....so much so he transformed his army to have Chaplains, and leadership that was extraordinary and valiant. He wanted the system that worked, and cultivated that leadership in his army...

The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom...says the proverb. The fear of the Lord is clean, says the Psalmist. All these Fears amount to something that God wants us to have....so that we cherish His Body, namely the Church and its calling to Disciple ALL nations.

The fool by many is thought to be an indolent jester, however, the Bible has a much more sinister approach to the fool. The fool is a dark genius who uses life to disconnect. The fool is to be judged on Sunday, so that his tendancies to bring reckage on life are haulted. See how the purpose of Church is to expose the fool, the fool in all of us.....

Isaac Newton is well known as the physicist who shook the world. The scientist who essentially invented calculus was impressed by singularly unimpressive he was, and how magnificently the universe was created, and that he had but the minor opportunity to "pick up a pebble" on a vast seashore of pebbles and gaze and explain it. He was a Christian man fraught with a temper....that ruined his calling. A calling that started in the house of God....

On the Sabbath day a deceleration to the nations is made by all Christians as they observe the Sabbath. The import of the Sabbath and the meaning of Christ's Kingdom is manifested by the Judgment that Starts in the House of the Lord.

Rabsheka was sent to intimidate the Hezekiah's people into surrendering and handing over Jerusalem to the Assyrian. Hezekiah consulted Isaiah and he was rest assured that not one arrow would be fired into Jerusalem. The Judgment of Sennacherib's army and final doom started in the house of God....

George Washington's famous words concerning Church and the importance of Sunday Worship: "In Church I learned to stay the course..."

Eldership in the land is vital for the survival of the land. Upright Eldership can only be taught in the Church. The Stay and the Staff of Isaiah is critical for a land to avoid judgment from the Lord.

In Deuteronomy 1 Moses tells Israel to choose for themselves wise men of renown to be their leaders. We need good leaders. When Saul tries to take his son Johnathan's life, the people stood behind Johnathan and prevented Saul from being lawless. We also need to back our leaders when they are good.
