The scientist who essentially invented calculus was impressed by singularly unimpressive he was, and how magnificently the universe was created, and that he had but the minor opportunity to "pick up a pebble" on a vast seashore of pebbles and gaze and explain it. He was a Christian man fraught with a temper....that ruined his calling. A calling that started in the house of God....
