On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: Obi-Wan Kenobi debuted on Disney+ over the holiday weekend with the first two episodes of the six-episode season. These episodes had all of the feels! Familiar faces, familiar characters, even familiar voices. Seriously, if you did not like these episodes, we would kindly suggest you take a one-way Bantha ride through the Jundland Wastes to the Dune Sea.  News surfaced this week of the apparent success (so far) of the 3W3M Substack with features Jonathan Hickman, Mike Hiddleston, and Mike del Mundo. Doing well enough that they are bringing in editor Steve Wacker to oversee the line. So we revisit the Substack concept and if this is now showing more viability as an ongoing channel for your entertainment consumption.   On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: We say thank you to a true titan of the comic book industry. Neal Adams passed away on April 28. So much of what we know in comics comes back to Adams' drawing table. Like Batman? The Batman you know started with Adams and Denny O'Neil. Like seeing creators get recognition for their characters on the silver screen? That credit goes to Neil. The introduction of Tim Drake as Robin sporting a new costume? That's all Adams. We could spend multiple shows discussing Neil and his legacy in comics. We finally get a chance to wrap up Planet Comicon Kansas City. What a weekend! As always, Kansas City steps up to support the Hero Initiative. We had a blast hanging out at our table with artist Richard Pace. And we are already making plans for Planet Comicon 2023 next March.  We look at 52 #35 with the new year starting out with a bang. As in the bang of bodies falling from the sky. Once again, we find ourselves asking why anyone would ever live in Metropolis.

EVER!: As of earlier today, the Marvel Knights shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, et al) that were once found on Netflix now have a new home on Disney+. What does that mean for your subscription, especially with the introduction of parental controls? (And let's be honest, our kids will probably have to tell us how to get those set up anyway.)  DC Entertainment announced a reshuffle of their movie line-up for 2022, which makes very little sense to us.
