Session 03 of Replacement Theology.Today we look at the Abrahamic Covenant that God made UNCONDITIONALLY with Abram in Genesis Ch. 15. We also discuss the unilateral nature of this covenant of the land to the people of Israel. We will look at Genesis, Pslam 105, Zephaniah 2, Hosea 5, Zechariah 12, and Romans 11 to show the nature of God's faithfulness and reality that God still has a plan for Israel. Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10) The book of Revelation is the only book that claims a blessing for reading it. We believe a proper understanding of prophecy should bring encouragement not fear. Today we take a overview of the two letters to the Thessalonians that speak of a coming event of God taking His people unto Himself. Enoch, Elijah and others are taken up to God in what has been called the Rapture of the Church. (We will have an entire series on this subject) We see that this word Rapture comes from the Latin from the Greek Harpazo. We also look at the great falling away read hear known as the "Great Apostasy".Another key to our understanding is that the gathering of the Church unto Himself and the Second Coming are two separate events.
