Genesis Ch. 3 We look at how sin effects the Nation with a look at "The Sin of Achan" Joshua Ch. 7. We see here how the sin of Achan effected the tiny nation of Israel. Sin always has consequences. Examining how Christ reconciled our sins and the sins of the nations at the cross. We see here in Genesis Ch. 3 how God deals with Adam & Eve's sin in His mercy. God tailors the curses to the woman and the man to constantly remind the only two people who knew perfection sin has marred. Today we look at Day 4 of Creation. The creation of the heavens Genesis 1:14-19 are in view here. We see God makes reference to the heavens being for signs, season, and years. Very interesting linkage here in the Hebrew to the biblical feasts (Moed) outlined in Leviticus 23. The Lord Jesus fulfilled 4 of the 7 feasts with His first coming. Passover, Unleavened bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost. The connection is awesome for the students of God's word. Enjoy!
