Man is not perfect and the world is not perfect so things break down and fail, people die and ships sink. Life is not perfect, bad things happen to all of us, our bodies break down and fail, people sink and die. But….then there is Jesus……

Hosea’s Heartbreak and God’s Grief. The tragic marriage of Hosea and Gomer painted a vivid portrait for the Israelites of how God viewed His relationship with them. Hosea and Gomer compared to God and Israel. God commands Hosea to marry a wayward woman. His whole life was a living portrayal of how God felt about Israel. *Hosea marries Gomer (1:3). God is betrothed to Israel (2:19). *Hosea is a faithful husband (3:3). God is a faithful “Husband” (1:7). *Hosea’s love is unrequited (3:1). Time is so short. The signs are all around us that Jesus is coming soon. The biggest sign is our own hearts. The second biggest is Israel is in their land and the world hates them just as Zechariah predicted. If not now when?

The world is ramping up calls for action on Catastrophic climate change. Does it exist? Well as I say in the Bulletin….let’s ask God, after all He created the world. He is the expert on the world. Psalm 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. We have a life to live and a life in Christ. One day our lives will be completed. How will it end for us? and what will people say about us? Will we limp toward the finish line or will be charge through the finish line? 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Hebrews 12:1 …..let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. So how do we live knowing that we are all going to come to an end in this life?

The Prophet Ezekiel is the author of the Book (Ezekiel 1:3). He was a contemporary of both Jeremiah and Daniel. Date of Writing: The Book of Ezekiel was likely written between 593 and 565 B.C. during the Babylonian captivity of the Jews. Purpose of Writing: Ezekiel ministered to his generation who were both exceedingly sinful and thoroughly hopeless. By means of his prophetic ministry he attempted to bring them to immediate repentance and to confidence in the distant future. He taught that: (1) God works through human messengers; (2) Even in defeat and despair God's people need to affirm God's sovereignty; (3) God's Word never fails; (4) God is present and can be worshiped anywhere; (5) People must obey God if they expect to receive blessings; and (6) God's Kingdom will come. Chapter two is the call of Ezekiel. God did not promise Him success….just His calling. We must get away from the game of numbers equals success. God will tell Ezekiel what success looks like.

12 Reason we have eternal security. We cannot lose our salvation because of these common sense Biblical reasons. And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish….John 10:28

A Demon came to Satan and said..."lets' tell man that there is no God." Satan said, "That won't work everybody believes in God." The demon said, "Then let's tell them there is no hell." Satan said, "That won't work, everybody believes in punishment." The demon said, "then I've got it...Let's tell them there is no hurry." Satan said, "That's it, perfect!" Jeremiah 8:20 The summer is past, It isn’t important that you like me, but it’s tremendously important that you’re washed in the blood of the lamb…that you meet God in a saving encounter before that terrible day when you’ll have to cry, "The summer is past, the harvest is over and we are not saved."

There are many false teachers and deception going on in our world today. Can you believe anything the media says? Can you believe anything congress says? Can you believe anything that world leaders say and do? Can you believe your own government? Who can you trust?

John chapter 10 and chapter 14 are my favorite chapters in the whole Bible because John 10 tells us that we are His sheep and as His sheep know Him and will simply follow Him and John 14 tells us that Jesus is the only way and tells us clearly that Jesus is God. Jesus answers Thomas questions in John 14 verse five about the way and then Phillip asked this question in verse seven that we will take a look at. Who is Jesus has been debated for centuries. Bottom line is this…..He is either God or a mad man. He clearly, and unmistakably claimed to be God in the flesh. So He is either God or liar. How can we know?

Jeremiah Chapters 30-33 contain messages for encouragement for a troubled nation. They needed hope in the midst of Babylonian captivity. So, God tells them they will come back, There will be a time of great trouble for them in the future but their nation shall never be destroyed

A ship or boat has to be anchored or it will drift away. The other day we were on our boat and we saw a very nice spot on the lake and decided to anchor there and enjoy the beach area. I thought I had my boat anchored. I looked up and without even realizing it we had drifted way down the shore line. Well I then re-anchored. The boat finally seemed secure. A little while later several boats sped by and the wake tossed our boat around as is usual when boats pass by. No problem I thought. A few minutes later to my shock we had drifted down the shore line again. This time we went even further down the shore line. We decided to leave that area and anchor somewhere else. The point is this….. Practically, If you are not anchored properly in a boat you will drift away. Spiritually, if you are not anchored properly in Jesus you will drift away. It’s not the anchor’s fault. It‘s not the boats fault. It’s the one who chooses to let down the anchor who must assure that the boat is anchors securely. There

What is a Holy Ghost preacher? Every preacher should be preaching by the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit or He is just a motivational speaker. But we think of Holy Ghost preaching with revivals, especially tent revivals, healing miracles, fast and loud preaching, prophetic utterances and tongues. A lot of fakes were around then as they still are today. Just in it for show to draw large crowds and fleece the flock. Today we don’t have as much so called Holy Ghost preaching as we used to as in the height this preaching in the early part of the twentieth century. But Simon wanted this great power that he saw demonstrated when the Samaritans received the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was born and lived a normal life, or at least an inconspicuous life. Then at the right time He appears all of sudden to John the Baptist indicating that He wanted to be Baptized. Agreeing with John’s baptism of repentance. But Jesus needed no repentance but came
