It’s week four of lockdown and the lads are back with some notes from their personal lives. Followed quickly by a heartwarming story of a sweetshop in Kolkata that is making sandesh in the shape of the coronavirus and calling it corona sandesh. Their objective is to create awareness, but also to get more people to buy sweets. The lads feel this lesser-represented food category needs a little help, so they put their wits together to help them keep their businesses going. It’s week three of the lockdown and PM Modi just extended the lockdown to 3rd May this morning. Part of the announcement was also a push to download the Aarogya Setu app. The app uses GPS and Bluetooth in an encrypted manner to speed up contract tracing and identify potential infected individuals and puts technology to use where humans fail to trace back their steps. The lads are mighty impressed with this initiative, in fact they are so proud of the app, that they spend all their time figuring out ways to get more people to install the app on their phones.
