    Welcome to Strength of Body and Mind!In this initial episode, Gordon introduces himself and talks about the purpose of the podcast and brand "Strength of Body and Mind" and what it means.He also dives into the concept behind the mindset being the main foundation in which all fitness and health related disciplines and habits are built upon.Gordon found a passion for fitness in 2008 when he found himself nearly 100 lbs overweight and finally had the AH-HA moment of "enough is enough." Through months and years of self-confidence and self-image issues, Gordon created a highly introverted and self-contained personality. HOWEVER, by identifying in his own mind what exactly he wanted to be, he was able to start slowly acting towards that goal. Within a year, he lost ~85 lbs, and created traits in himself that he wanted. From there, Gordon has been deeply passionate about fitness, nutrition, health and mental strength.
