The Bible says, “as a man think in his heart, so is he”. How often do we check if our heart’s ready for what we’re praying for? Double-mindedness, lack of faith, and sin can keep us from our blessings; but there’s something else that can also keep us from them. What do you consider self-love? I don’t know about you but I feel that self-love according to the world is about indulging in materialistic things/ lustful desires that makes us happy and not necessarily in loving our whole selves- mind, body, and soul. It appears to me that many believe loving ourselves is doing what we feel is good but miss that loving is doing what is good.
