This passage encourages us to give generously, not reluctantly or under compulsion, according to what we have. It reminds us that God loves a cheerful giver, and when we give with a joyful heart, we not only meet the needs of others, but we also experience the joy that comes from giving.Generosity is a transformative practice that leads to a deeper quality of life. When we give, we imitate Christ, who gave His life for us. It grows our faith, deepens our trust in God, and enhances our relationships with others as we demonstrate our love in generosity.

This sermon explores how the gospel reveals a way to the generous life. The Corinthian Church learns that true generosity is not motivated by a desire to earn God's love, out of guilt, or to be seen by others. Rather, it is an outpouring of the love and grace that God has shown to us, and it is only through the revelation of God that we can see the abundance of the Kingdom of God and how to remove obstacles to the generous life.

In this passage, we will look at how Paul highlights the beyond generous life of the Philipian Church in his letter to Corinth. Paul is trying to model that a mature church is a beyond generous church. Because the generous gospel does not tell people to simply be generous it creates beyond generous people.

Slingshot Series will be looking at insight's from the life of young David.In this passage, we will examine the story that led to the life of David and why God rejected Israel's first king, Saul. Ultimately, the God of the Bible desires for those who claim to love and serve Him to actually obey Him. Saul's disobedience of God's command resulted in his rejection and the acceptance of David. This disobedience is the reason why sacrifice is even necessary. Therefore, we will examine the rejection of one king and the prerequisites for the next.

This Sunday's sermon is focused on the Nativity story of the Magi, as told in Matthew 2:1-12. The Magi were wise men who traveled from afar to bring Jesus valuable gifts and pay him homage. This passage highlights the theme of love, which can evoke a range of emotions including desire, betrayal, grief, and the feeling of love reborn. It encourages believers to seek out Christ's ultimate peace by trusting Him and allowing Him to bring comfort and assurance in their lives.
