Born of the disco era SOCA music is the #1 dance music genre in the Caribbean. It is the evolved form of Calypso music of Trinidad & Tobago a tiny Country and Island rich with culture and passion. Carnival is a big deal in the West Indies and SOCA Music is the booming sound that defines the season. Today, Carnival is an almost year round phenomenon with a circuit that stretches around the globe. This music is ENERGY, passion, and pace. Infectious rhythm, positive beats, that are sure to uplift you out of even the most somber states. I DJ #SOCACONDUCTOR endeavour to keep you, dancing in your seat, on the table, in the car with with an abundance electric hot weekly releases. Well keep you connected to the extremely active and overwhelming music scene with music curated and delivered in weekly live music mix fashion for your listening pleasure. My purpose is to share the music and culture we are proud of. Coming out of the West Coast of Canada #Vancouver to be specific, with no commercial affiliation, this show is produced by me a 100% volunteer. Giving me the freedom to share my passion for music without the restrictions that commercial soca radio is under to play only specific tracks by specific artists due to contractual obligations.
