Frank Murgia of Pittsburgh Podcast Network joins Sorg and Chilla this week. Frank always keeps it real when he’s in studio with Blackberry updates and notes on paper. This week, our tech and gadget gurus are talking about: Frank is sharing an Awesome Thing of the Week with a wearable USB sync and charging bracelet. Chilla’s Awesome Thing of the Week is an open source product for 360 photos without having to use an outside service. Sorg’s Awesome Thing of the Week would work well with Chilla’s – Hilltopolis happened. It was AWESOME! This week, the guys are talking about the status of their fantasy line-ups before heading into the nitty gritty sports talk. At the top of the show they're covering the Pirates - while they still can. With nine games left and declining attendance, the Pirates organization is turning to promotions for a final push to get fans out. Between seven straight losses and Cerveli out for the season due to injury, it's going to be hard. Add to that the Penguins' first pre-season game and fast-approaching home opener on October 4th, Pittsburgh sports fans are already prepping for winter sports action. We can't forget about football either. For the college football fans, Steve and Matt take a look at Pitt, PSU, WVU, and Notre Dame before heading into this week's Steelers talk. Sarika Goulatia is a sculptor/installation artist who comes to Pittsburgh by way of Gorakhpur, India. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in textiles at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in India and a BFA from the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University.
